    Previously a Deschutes Fresh Squeezed IPA, now a Southern Tier Tangier ( should have drank that all by now, I thought ), apparently 4th of July starting early here, fireworks going off on a regular basis.

    Strange...how addicting this site can be...esp. when one takes a quick overnight to Santa Cruz and can't access

    have catching up to do (and how does one start the WBAYDN thread today with a beer from the night before...insanity laced with some chronological confusion...I hope other BA's communicated as such....what does the "N" stand for anyway???)

    but, i digress

    Fathers Day....oldest daughter did an arts/crafts project using used bottles to craft new consumption vehicles....so I Ten Fidy'd one (with aggressive pour...spilllage you see...apologies)

    Okey-doke, I'm back, camera is back, life is good. Almost 7 now in NOVA (otherwise known as the surface of the sun) & me & the GF are gearing up to finally catch up on Aquarius (Duchovny's a pimp in that show). However, before doing that, I just wanted to share another slice of my local beer festivities with you folks:

    Drinking this one I got from @TurkeyFeathers. Thank you kind sir. I love it. Now that is how you make a maple syrup beer. Definitely no hunting around trying to find the flavor in this one.

    Happy Fathers Day to all us Dad's out there! Having a Summerfest to celebrate the Summer solstice as well. Very disappointed that this beer was bottled March 19th and Summer is just starting....:rolling_eyes: May have to add something to the thread "The ever creeping seasonal beer calendar." I guess I should start looking for Celebration next week?

    Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there.

    Got a great salvage of the day. Rain all morning, but a great afternoon and huge window for barbecue, so sort of slow cooked chiecken thighs, grilled some asparagus. Hot tub water chemistry finally straight, so yahoo!

    A bottle of 2014 Allagash Odyssey accompanied dinner for the missus and me. And I have seven pages of reading to catch up on...nighttime entertainment.
