Wish I had more of these!
Really enjoyed the most recent release, best version yet, I think. Still a couple in my fridge.
Railway City Brewing Co. Dead Elephant IPA! cheers!
This is good! It's like Red Racer IPA but with a more pronounced tropical fruit note.
Jekyll and Hyde's Lawn Mower Lager (my homebrew):
Happy May 2-4!
PULP? My new england style IPA.
From the weekend:
Beau's Patersbier. This beer is a recreation of the low gravity beer that Belgian monks drank for sustenance. Cheers!
This one was a bit too chocolate heavy for me... Wouldn't mind trading the other one I have for something worthwhile.
Good name and even better beer. Would have the on tap on the desert island!
Watching the the robin refresh itself in the bird bath. Cheers!
If you have anything interesting to trade, I have one left
A couple more CanBIFs...
I was surprised to prefer the Stash over the Cruiser, but perhaps it was fresher...
I'd love to have this in 341ml bottles all summer!
Another great CanBIF treat from TBeckett...
Big change over a half year to say the least! Completely gone is that juicy hop profile that just had citrus galore. Now bittering up pretty good. Getting metallic. Huge holes appearing in the flavor profile. Turning grassy.
Big about face! If this pace continues the rest will be undrinkable within the next 6mths for sure. Let's see!
I was worried the hops might'be faded (canned March 31st), but they're still super juicy. Delicious brew.
I know what you are saying. I had bought a case of it and drank the last can about a week ago. In my opinion it is past due already. It's an awesome IPA fresh. That's how I loved it. The taste changed at 2 months and by the third month it was to the point I had lost interest in it. Don't wait. Drink them fresh. Learned that the had way.
Some type of experiment?
Ran a 10km race this morning in the Edmonton River valley. I finished 3rd overall. I figured that deserved a reward so I stopped by Sherbrooke on the way home (all roads lead to Sherbroke). Picked up a Crowler of Ribstone Creek Great White Combine White IPA. It's a truly excellent beer.
Love this, wish i had more than one can
A solid specimen... Super bitter but insanely smooth. I could drink this all night.
My funky nelson saison.
1st Strange Fellows Fellowship beer (members only) Greybeard
Yes! Want to taste the degradation of the brew as time passes. We all know how delicious fresh IPA's are so I'm doing regular tastings of this brew now to see how it changes. So far so bad though.
Sixpoint Jammer. Picked up in Portland (along with many other brews!). Salty tart goodness. Cheers!
a really fantastic sour for a Quebec brewery!
One of my favourites. I don't quite know what it is but this beer hits all the right notes for me.
I had Pliny for the first time last week and I would say this is in the same ballpark. Tropical fruit, dank hops, incredibly well balanced. Cheers!
How was it?
I really liked it! Well balanced, just fruity enough and a great mouthfeel.
They're India Session Ale is also great. Incredibly refreshing.
First Post on the Canadian "What Beer Are You Drinking Now"! Didn't even know this existed until I was poking around on the forum list
Schnizterbrau Hirse Premium German Pilsener!
How did you like that? I've heard mixed things.
