Black Tuesday with dabeerbuddha. All the best to everyone and have a good one.
Thank you sir for a great afternoon!
My pleasure! Was a great time and hope to see you again one day.
First time for this one for me.
There is definitely a different angle to sours out West. A sweet and sour treat from Derek. Cheers!
Another great brew from Derek. Been really picking up what Yellow Dog has been putting down. In this case I'm experiencing the difference between wet hop and fresh hop and I'm in the fresh hop camp. This dog has had its day.
First Other Half, generously given to me. Solid beer
Nickel Brook Brett Farmhouse... really damn good!
Can't believe I sat on this one so long. Just juicy and awesome.
This post made me review my HHOE stock.
Managed to have a juicy night cap after junior went down last night.
This one honestly almost blew my mind, it was incredible!
#142/200 This one was a little underwhelming
Absolutely loved this one
Dinosaurs and Bees are awesome. Haha
I would have loved to be underwhelmed by that one. Haha.
Yeah, that's something that would've been more in your wheelhouse. Had I known...
Not bad. Hard to overtake BtP's with the same name though
The first time I had the Saison Tropicale it was pretty fine. Last time it had a hard hit of alcohol. I had been telling people how I like it but it's hotter than I remember. Brett helps!
Just taking a friendly jab. I can imagine how that brew could miss the point. After all its just experimental. Good rare tick either way.
This is one I've had before but it was so good I thought I'd try it again. Bottled 4 days ago.
A touch maltier than I remembered...
Hello Canadians BAs, I don't want to disrupt your thread too much but I was wondering if ''La vache folle Amarillo DIPA'' was worth buying? I found it here where I live, and I'm tempted.
(I didn't want to start a thread in your own forum for such a trivial question), any insight on this beer is welcome.
If it's relatively fresh, it should be worthwhile. It's in our top 100 here, but I haven't tried it yet!
Fresh 2016... even better than last year!
Lunch for dessert
Whoa! A great candidate for a desert island brew!
Thanks again to @GJKerr!
W/Citra. Probably went backwards on this one.
A real clean light body blonde.
Is that the only Charlevoix/Vache Folle beer that you found?
All of those beers are pretty decent, but there's no way that they're fresh. Those are all rotating and that one hasn't come out in a long time to the best of my knowledge.
@TheDoctor, yes the only one. I think I'll buy it despite the price. I've read enough BA reviews and overall rating that convinced me to purchase it.
Another Grimm. Nice beers, but not in the top tier as far as all these east coast ipa's go
I wouldn't buy this beer if I was you. Fresh it's allright but it has not been released since last year. I remember drinking it last December so you shouldn't put money at all on this beer. At least wait until it's fresh.
This one was a bit mellow, but very true to the label. Another really nice HHOE. Thanks to @dabeerbuddha !
Thanks to @VincentGD01 for this fresh (20/10/2016) BA top 100!
Lots of hops, restrained bitterness, really great!
Nice beer, not as New England'y as I expected
The weather made me do it!
How are you liking it? I thought it was sweet AF
It is a bit sweet but that's par for the style. Chocolate is sweet but there is bitterness that helps balance it. I find it no sweeter than DDC Aphro. I have bottles and cans of EMJ and I prefer the bottles. Both are good though. Temperature was important too.
Bellwoods Ghost Orchid. Pretty darn fresh and delicious!
Another thanks to @VincentGD01
From Vox Populi... Great hopping, but the bitterness is nowhere near 100 IBU, and I think that's a good thing. Really well balanced, flavourful, easy drinker.
