What beer are you drinking now, Canada?

Good As by Trailway. An IPA that features Motueka hops with support from Citra.

I'm a big fan of Southern Hemisphere hops, and Motueka is high on the list. Some nice tropical flavours, along with some soft peach. A great feel to this beer too; full and soft. Great tropical finish with a slight bitter, but not overpowering.

I think Trailway has been tweaking recipes recently. This is dialed in and is so damn good.

 

This is a older can from Messorem. I think from March. It held up reasonably well. A little sweetness creeping in. Some ugly chunks at the the end of the pour as well. Still pretty good though.

 

How's it drinking? I have a 2007 of this if you're interested.

 

I bought a few bottles way back, only to discover I don't really like peated - anything. lol My scotch friends loved it though.

 

Another Beer Company Tropicool Cold IPA.

Amazing tropical aromas. Fruity, slightly bitter and very clean. Very enjoyable. A brand new brewery to me as well.

 

On a little family vacation on PEI. Happy to grab this lovely saison at Lone Oak after crossing the bridge.

 

A nice pale ale from the Sir John anniversary release. Oi Mate!

Terrible label. Good beer.

 

Drank a sixer over the course of the week away on family vacation. Stopped at the brewery again on the way home and picked up a flat of short cans. This is great stuff, canned less than 3 weeks ago.

I love that series of beer. Only missing the 21yr in the series! a 2007 version must be smooth as hell.

 

I bought a bunch and slowly opened them through the years, they were great. The problem is I couldn't bring myself to open the last bottle. lol If you're interested in it, sure, just send me a BM with whatever you have that available. Maybe we can still trade a small box before the weather gets too cold. I've got Kilter available as well (everyone always asks for that )

 

A very nice Oktoberfest from Grimross out of Fredericton, NB.
