A nice WCIPA from Kilter in Winnipeg from the very generous @tbadiuk .

 

…and a top shelf NEIPA from the masters at Bas Canada

 

A tasty Belgian IPA from Grimross. An underrated brewery smashing out a pretty wide range of really solid beers.

 

Great beer, those folks know how to do a modern IPA.

Tonight I’m drinking a March 2018 bottle of Peche Mortel. Still tons of coffee present.

Godspeed Irori Peated Scotch Lager.

 

I have been enjoying my Ra Ra Rasputin order from Big Spruce in Cape Breton.
Of particular note the 2021 Rye BA and 2020 Tawny BA versions are outstanding.

How is this one? It's on the top-rated list here, but I'm getting tired of all the NEIPA's ... is it significantly different? Or similar to their other styles, which by all means, is always good.

Tasty! Not quite as sweet as a lot of high end Belgians Ill have to examine a couple more bottles to get a true impression though.,

Goose Island - BCBS 2021

Woah. Some may call it overrated, others over hyped. I call it good.

Reminiscent to prairie artisan ales oh fudge, but more bitter than sweet.

 

This year Propeller has brought back their “Revolution” recipe and livery for the seasonal RIS.

 

Finally! I was disappointed when I heard they changed it.

 

Or, to momentarily re-title the thread, What Canadian beer are you drinking now, sort-of reasonably-near-to-Canada-person?



Ces Frémissements, a NEDIPA from Messorem Bracitorium. Good stuff! I've had a bad run of overly sweet, icky DIPA's and this baby was just the ticket to restore my enthusiasm.

With friends like these, willing to contravene the postal regulations of two countries in one fell swoop, who needs to bother with having swabs jammed up their noses?
