gotta love cloverleaf. had been looking forward to this for months, and it didn't disappoint. too bad i got a cold from the lack of power/heat in my house and was a bit congested. still great stuff though.

People are always their own worst critic. The video paired well with this glass of "This One Goes To 11".

Having a few Great Lakes brews; appropriate for Ohio's outsized role in this evening's proceedings. My fave port, the Edmund Fitgerald, and a Nosferatu to end.

Tocobaga. I still get the feeling I'm going to have to give this another shot and possibly write subsequent reviews at later dates. But, hopefully I'll be getting to try this on tap and in the can before too long, so I'm looking forward to it :-)

I haven't had this one in a year. Solid beer.

Forgot how good that stuff is, had a can randomly this last summer in a canned-beer specialty bar in DC

    Now, moving on to

first time trying this stuff, i have to say - delicious!! A little more tartness wouldn't have hurt, but there is a surprising amount of malt given their other fruit stuff and it really reminds me of apple pie - except I like it better than apple pie. mmmmm mmm mmmmm

Had a Boston Lager earlier when we went out for dinner, to warm up, and charge our phones.

Now, as wife, daughter, and dog snooze in front of the fire in the otherwise dark and cold house, I just finished a Founders Harvest, moving on to a Half Acre Daisy Cutter, and will close with a Founders Breakfast Stout.

With a Noreaster coming tomorrow, we will head out to family until the power is finally back on.

Went and visited the Arlington Cemetery today. Got to see the changing of the guard. The unknown solider in general is one of the most moving things I've ever seen in my entire life. I wasn't even in the service and had to choke back a few tears.

Then I hit the red line metro to DuPont and walked the .7 miles to the one and only Churchkey.

No lie, if you're in D.C., plan on being in D.C., make the trip it's well worth it.

They were releasing Maine Beer Co. into the D.C. area today, so I sampled the entire Maine Beer Co. tap list, and them some.

I believe this was Lunch, which was a 4oz pour from a bottle.
