Nice post workout beer
Thanks for the information!
After seeing many folks praise this brew here, I was delighted to see this on the shelf today. It's delicious.
Hops have mellowed
But still yummy
Just got it from a trade. Thanks Randy!
A lot of Americans will drink these straight (and there's certainly nothing wrong with that!), but you may want to try it the way the Germans drink it at least once - with a dash of woodruff or raspberry syrup.
"The one in the brown bottle."

A couple of Sierra Nevadas...
Rather oily hop sensation on the palate and the nose. This reminds me of my second Jai Alai...something was off about it, but I enjoyed it. Had this funky brett thing going on, and was beautiful.

Still cranking thru saranac twelve box winter samplers in search of the golden ticket to the brewery! Starting off with a black bear bock and trying a new brew for me, sassy rabbit, later this evening.

Had an IPA with supper and now opened this.
When I first had one from this batch (Jan 2012), it tasted fine.
Bourbon and coffee on the nose, sour finish.. Damn..
You can always put that picture on your desk next to those of family and friends (I know I would).
Third Coast Old Ale at home, followed by a BA old raspy at the Wild Monk in St Charles, IL. Great beer selection, knowledgable bar staff, really solid food.
One of my favorite beers from one of my favorite glasses.
Ditto that ^ this is a phenomenal beer...many thanks to Ravenacht for this opportunity!
Shock Top End of the World Midnight Wheat
Meantime - London Porter. Not as thick or as strong of an aroma as most porters I've had, but the taste is very good.
On to this
Alright, I gotta know where you found this snifter.
