First Founders Impy of the year!
Personally, I preferred Birdman from but.....but enjoy. It hasn't shown up in my town yet.
Started with a glass of Impeachment from RJ Rockers while at dinner, great stuff. Moving on...
My first one of these. It's mandatory to eat some chocolate with this, right? Thoroughly impressed, especially given the price and availability.
Cheers to Doug in CA for this extra
Goose Island Baudoinia out at Tap House Grill, Westmont, Il.
This beer is phenomenal, even if it is The BCBS Fungus beer.
no contest. HEADY is 10x better
Started the night with a Columbus IPA.
Picked up some Bolt Cutter tonight, round 2 with this beer. Cheers all.
Palate Wrecker, bottled 12/18
One sip in...pretty tasty!
i haven't tried too many porters, Edmund Fitzgerald has been at the top of that list so far, but this one is definitely right up there with it, very good.
so this song just came up on Pandora, this was my jam when it was on EA MVP Baseball '03ish haha. don't think i've heard it since i've played that game.
My first Bigfoot of 2013. Not as hoppy as I remember LOL
Enjoying this while I take my Xmas decorations down.
Don't even ask that question!!!!!!!!! *gasp*!!!!
.................................................................................................(hell YEAH it's worth trying)
Smoke em if you got em.
Should have known!
This is really, really fantastic.
Very delighted for this and I just found it as it came of the truck at my local store!
Getting squatchy up in here.
I managed to finally land some Sucks this week (2 sixers), but I'm really trying to save it for Saturday. It'll taste better shared with friends, anyhow.
Tonight I'm going with something completely different- Maniacal Joker
Nightmare-inducing label. The beer- not so much. It could use some tweaking, but it's still a solid English style barleywine.
This is so efin good fresh is it even worth aging?
That's a good price for Bolt Cutter.
Saw some folks drinking this on the thread, and since I happen to have a bottle - 'cuz it was on my list of "beers-I've-never-had-but-I-know-I-can-get" from the Beers Hall of Fame list - I figured, what better time?
Lagunitas' Little Sumpin' Sumpin'
Now that I have a weizen glass, any beers made with wheat are going in it. Simple. It's like a New Years' resolution-thing.
Similar to a hefeweizen, but notice the clarity of the beer (no yeast at the bottom of the bottle), and it had "American" IPA hop tastes on top of the wheat malts. Real good stuff.
Is it my imagination, or does the weizen glass make you drink the beer more quickly? It's like, I just can't help but quaff it, y'know? Damn. Gone already.
Started off this afternoon with this:
Now working on this:
Having this tonight. It's good, worth a try.
Heady #1 of the evening.
It's wayyyy up there. Never had Bramble, but I bet it's every bit it's southern equal!!
Simply incredible. That's all i can really say. Jim, this was truly a gracious offering!!!
This. My first Sucks. It is very tasty. I'd take a pic but my wife will bust the balls she so heavily relies upon.
loved walking in the store and seeing this..cheers!!
It really is different. That can be a bad or good thing but for me I was trying to find out what it was doing and maybe on that merit I liked it for challenging me.(Like the Birrificio del Ducato L'Ultima Luna did)
Nice day for a Hill Farmstead Juicy, cheers.
It goes without saying, incredibly delishious beer day in and day out. Finished my last 3 to make room in my fridge for a case of Hopslam and hopefully at least a couple 4 packs of Bells Black Note that I will be picking up when visiting Bell's brewery for my first time tomorrow!!
First one of the night, first time trying a Cricket Hill...not to bad...
