I've seen 2 or 3 over the past couple weeks. One just 48 hours ago. They always keep up in posts though for something harder to acquire. For example, the one recently was FT: HF ISO: Lambic - open to international.

The last release of Atrial Rubicite. Hopefully enough time has passes that it starts showing up a little more as a FT.

Still haven't tried FO, so that might be it currently. Luckily no one else on the site is ISO of it, so I should be able to get it very easily.

Beatification. Had it at Gabf last year and want more than a small pour. Typing this makes me want a Pliny. Guess that’s two on the list...

Backyard Rye. Shared a bottle at a recent Goose event and it moved into the top spot of all BCS for me.

What's interesting to me about beers like Aaron is that relative value (not talking secondary at all) be damned in terms of landing one. You can make offers that are spot on in terms of other completed trades, but beers like aaron just seem hard to pry out of people's hands. It's not even necessarily about going "above", it's just that they seem hard for people to let go of.

The best thing that I can equate this to is Rare '15. A lot of people seem to have a hard time letting them go if they were the one that purchased them, since they probably paid $60-80 retail. So, even if trade value is similar or they are getting "over trade value" for it, it still seems like people have a hard time letting go of them.

Aaron is a special beer. I love it. First time I had it was from a 375 ml bottle back in 2105. Easily one of the best beers I’ve ever had.

That said, I was at Hill the last release in November. Picked up a good amount. I’ve drank a couple, but have traded at least a few bottles for things I wanted to try. While it’s a hard bottle to let go, in some cases I’m sure some would say I got less than I should have, “winning” mentality, I’ve been more than happy to with the beers I’ve gotten back. Always feels better spreading the love.

There's a phenomenon that's rarely discussed in trading, which is local desirability.

I have no idea if this is the case with Aaron, but I know around MN, there are certain beers that will trade or "sell" at crazy levels - & nobody outside the five state area gives a rip about them. Could be the case here, that Aaron is revered by the locals, who know how good it is, so why would somebody trade something like that? I know I've had beers like that in my hands, that nobody could have pried loose...

I hear ya. I have an extra bootle of BA Patience that I've occasionally included in some FTs, and nobody outside of MN cares.

Hill Farmstead's Double Galaxy, Society & Solitude series or any of their other PA/IPAs in cans. Seems to be impossible for me to trade for or I just don't have what people are looking for when trading their cans.

I've been to Hill Farmstead so I understand how remote it is. Undoubtedly that plays a big part in the difficulty of obtaining those cans. But damn, at this point I'm thinking of just heading out there personally and loading up to bring back to Chicago.
