What beer(s) are you planning to drink during Superbowl 2018?

    Well . . . I wasn't going to watch the game because I am not a fan of either. But now that you said you would like to put the Steelers in their place for having 6 rings . . . Go Eagles!!! :wink:

    Only beer in will drink during the game is the beer brewed for Eagles fans

    If I drink anything before the game it will only be from breweries that have been supporting the Eagles all season, mainly 2SP and Weyerbacher, maybe something from Victory or Tired Hands.

    A have a crowler of local ipa, another local Mexican style stout and put some Brooklyn BCS and Sunday Morning Stout in the fridge too. I'm getting up at 9am to make some slow cooker carnitas and that's where the SMS comes in

    Even though I get very bitter about the Superbowl - 630 start on the east coast, ends at 1030-1100, have to get up early on Monday - who am I kidding, I'll at least crack a few open....
    My very small line-up will be:
    1.) Hi-Res
    2.) Money Mad Fat
    3.) Money Mad Fat
    4.) Maybe one more Mad fat after that?
    I plan on starting early and then ending early and watching the confetti in bed....

    **I get sooooo pissed that the Superbowl starts as late as it does - it's a little anti-climatic for me.
    **I don't need a Monday off, all I ask is that it starts at like 3 or 4 EDT.
    **Yes, I KNOW why it doesn't - viewership, money, blah blah...but it's still a little frustrating...

    That being said - hope its a good game and we all come out as winners $$$$!!

    None, it's aired from 0:30am here until... wow. So I will be tucked in bed and not rooting for either. May the best team win.

    Although, I do love a good philly cheese steak so thats an indication.

    I recently picked up this years black butte, but I also have new hollands 20th anniversary ale. I really shouldn't drink both, as the anniversary ale is 20% and a bomber. So I'm trying to figure that out while I drink random lower abv beers ahead of the game...

    I was voluntold I am driving my daughter home after the game, putting a bit of damper on my beer plans. So - I started a bit early with an Avery Fimbulvvinter Rum BA Quad. Moving on to a BCBS soon. Then during the game I'll slow it down and drop back to lower ABV so by the time the games ends I'll be good.

    1) KBBS to get things started off
    2) followed by a Double Barrel Hunaphu
    3) King Julius to keep the ball rolling
    4) a Cantillon Fou' Foune for good measure
    5) and a BBA IBB to round things out

    No jk, I wish. I'm going to a friend's party so I'll be crushing plenty of these tonight...

    Got trapped at the house with unexpected snow and couldn't get out for planned beer run. Options are 1 can Hopslam, 1 bottle Two Hearthed and 1 bottle of SN Hop Bullet. Started big with the Hopslam, now I'm heading out to shovel slush so I can get out of my driveway and go to work in the morning. Be back about 1/2 hr. before game start. Nothing better than doing some exercise/physical activity with a 10% beer in you.
