Goose Island Imperial IPA and Bourbon County Rare.
Duck-Rabbit Paul's Day Off. Man, oh man, was that ever good...
Westvleteren Special 6 (Red Cap)
Mad Brewers Ten20 Commemorative Ale
Black Damnation I
I came here to post this. I'm very disappointed I joined the craft beer hunt the year after they stopped making it.
Not sure where you're from, but I highly recommend seeking out New Glarus Belgian Red if you have not tried it yet. It blows Founders Cerise away IMO.
To that note, I can't say with certainty that both beers are attempting to achieve the same thing.
Really? Haven't tried it yet but I saw a few cases at one of my local distributors.
Sierra Nevada ESB...never got to try it!
Jinx....the only great beer Magic Hat ever put out.
Another vote for Squall, which I found dramatically better than 90 min. Also, Festina Lente.
3 Floyd's Amon Amarth Ragnarok and 3 Floyd's Evil Power. Last time I visited they said there were no plans to brew either anytime soon.
back a few years ago, i got a 24 pack spring mix pack from sam adams that included the brown ale, scotch ale, black lager, boston lager, and another one...i really enjoyed the scotch ale and brown ale. this was well before my addiction to BA and craft, but id love to see the scotch ale come back from sam adams.
I'll go with
Sam Adams Hallertau Imperial Pilsner
I've never had those, but I know that they'd be on my list of favorites.
Avery Thirteen and Odell Extra Special Red (which supposedly IS coming back at some point).
Squall was the first beer I thought of.
Summit's Kolsch and RyePA.
Dirty Beaver Juice Weekend. I think it's better than Melange #3.
Odell Saboteur and Funkworks Aurora are the first two that come to mind.
Founders Black Rye
Smutty Portsmouth Lager
Post Road (Brooklyn) Snow Shoe Brown Ale
the bruery Partridge in a pear tree!
not only would it be hilarious to see the value crushed on this one, but i had it with 3 years on it and it was phenomenal! it deserves to be tried by many
Wasn't too crazy about the Pepper Porter, but really enjoyed the others.
I don't know if Ruination 10 is considered, but that stuff was awesome, would love to have that again.
Stone 10th Anniversary and Ruination Tenth Anniversary.
Tyranena Devil Over a Barrel.
Another one off - Stone 15th. I'd be happy if they retired Sublimely Self Righteous and released 15th in 4 packs.
bought one of these less than a month ago..maybe it was old
This one goes to 11. It's really just good basic beer, with high abv.
Kate the Great, King Henry, and anything Pete's wicked ass makes.
Firestone 12 - Anniversary Ale
Wild Goose Spring Wheat Ale. For someone like me who doesn't care much for the wheaties I loved this beer. It also came in what looked like a plain cardboard colored six-pack with lime green lettering.
They still make Pete's Wicked Ale? It was one of my 1st micro-beer tastings. Good stuff!
And, they may not find one. I keep checking their website: http://www.brewinvest.com/ but I now have little faith that they can pull it off.
It was good even when General Brewing brewed it.
Deschutes Pine Mountain Pils. I've said it before in previous retired beer threads and I'll say it one.more.time.
And the original orange cream stout.
Zima is still sold in Japan.
Where did you find it's all gone in southeast wis
Kate the Great!
Helluva Pils. Damn near forgot about it until this thread.
