Company Brewing in Milwaukee. Specifically for Holiday Party, their new rum BA black quad. The growler of it in our fridge seems to have developed the ability to beckon me...

Tuesday afternoon my gf and I went to Founders, and that was epic.

I had just hoped to be able to randomly stumble on a day on which they had KBS on draft, and they did! But then I couldn't believe my luck when they also tapped this bad boy: CBS. I about pooped my pants from excitement.

It was phenomenal. You could totally notice the maple note as it warmed. Shockingly smooth. Our bartender was a super nice guy and gave my gf and I first two pours out of the keg. Then he had us try a 50:50 sample mix of Blushing Monk:CBS, which was also great, free of charge. The raspberry and maple note of CBS went ohhh-so well together! By the time CBS keg ran out, I had 4 pours of CBS (had 2 pours of KBS before that). What a day it was.

Interesting tid bit, the bartender said they bottled CBS this year for first time in years but it's not available for sale at the moment. Wasn't sure when it was going to be available. The employees will be given first batch of the bottles, which makes sense.

Absolutely loved this place. The establishment, the beers, the food, the vibe and service. I can totally see why it's consistently voted among the best breweries, if not the best, to visit.

This place has earned all the praise it gets. Definitely will be coming back here, and bringing a bigger crowd with me.

Wicked Weed and the other 703 breweries in Asheville. Add in the bottle shops and that place is beer heaven.

Made it to Jackie O's a few weeks ago and then stumbled upon The Devil's Kettle while making my way towards C-Bus.

Really liked this place. It exceeded my expectation in quality and selection of beer, food, and the establishment itself.

Hit up Historic Brewing in Flagstaff, AZ the other night. Had a couple of pours of the Opposable IPA. Thought the beer was OK, lacking some flavor and hop aroma. But it grew on me a little. Also tried their Rye IPA which was spicier, but my lady friend thought it was flavorless

I recently checked out Funky Buddha and Transmitter. Extremely different breweries to visit, both exceptional. I'm planning on visiting SingleCut next weekend, and will likely use it as an excuse to make another stop into Transmitter as well.

My friend took me to Jackie O's when I visited in Athens, but I had no taste for beer and didn't even drink much. Not even sure I was 21 yet...

I always make a trip to Three Floyds every 3-4 months.

Powder Hollow Brewery in Enfield, CT. Hometown all the way. Great selection, $6 for a flight of 4. Worth stopping in even though the tasting room is small. Going to Broad Brook Brewing soon, one town over.

Friend's wedding this past Saturday at Wild Wold Brewing in Nellysford, VA (had visited previously). Wife and I hit South Street, Champion, and Three Notch'd in Charlottesville, VA the day before.

Next up, I really have to get off my butt and walk to Bold Mariner down the street in Norfolk.

This weekend I spent in Kalamazoo...

We did a private tour at the Bells (new) production facility in Comstock, followed by the Bells original downtown brewery, Arcadia Ales Brewery, Olde Peninsula Brewery, Ruperts Brewhouse, Tibbs Brewery, & Gonzos Bigg Dogg Brewery. On the drive home, we took a little break at Dark Horse Brewery in Marshall.

It was a "loaded" weekend to say the least.

Here are a few pics from the day:
