I visited Four Peaks Brewery in Tempe a few weeks ago. Had their Kilt Lifter Scottish Ale for the first time. Had a really great time.

Last weekend I went to Unruly in Muskegon, Michigan, and Brewery Vivant in Grand Rapids. Both great, worthwhile stops for anyone doing a Grand Rapids/West Michigan beer tour. Both had great beers and good quality food options to go with.

Today hit Loveland Aleworks. I had a very nice brown ale and a chocolaty imperial stout while my buddy had a couple fruity sours.

Skip dayblock, try fair state or indeed brewing instead.

Spoonwood Brewing in Bethel Park, P.A. just this evening, wrote a reveiw of it just now. It is ridicualously awesome because their brew pub is ON Point! They have great service, good food and good beer. They are really new, but catching on. They will be big soon enough.

Stoneyard Brewing in Brockport, NY. It's Rochester Beer Week, so there were a ton of special events going on in the area. Stopped by their IPA event and sat outside enjoying a few brews with dinner next to the Erie Canal. Had a good time, and had some good beers.

Ended up drinking after the tour an unnamed lambic straight out of the barrels after 18 months of aging, a Kriek, a Gueuze 2007 and a Lou Pepe Framboise 2008. Also picked up 6X 750 bottles for a whopping ~$36 total.

Wrapped up a great brewery tour of Harrisonburg VA a couple weeks ago. I hit Pale Fire coming back from Luray Caverns on Thursday, then returned to Harrisonburg Friday to hit Three Notch'd (have been to the one in Charlottesville as well), Wolfe Street, and Brothers.

If I had to rate the venues and beer:
    1. Tie with Wolfe Street and Three Notchd
    2. Brothers (surprisingly)
    3. Pale Fire

My plan next year, out of Lexington, is to hit the breweries in Waynesboro. There's word of another brewery opening in Staunton as well (Beerwerks, I think), I'll have to keep track of it.

Titletown Brewery in Green Bay - great food and beer. Their new taproom and 4th story beer patio is great. Had a Green 19 IPA. IMO this brewery could be really great as their sour/wild beers I've had in the past have been outstanding.

Badger State Brewing in Green Bay - great facility and very good beer. I had been meaning to visit this place a long time and their beer offerings are great. Glad to see them growing.

Karbach in Houston. I really liked how they sold a glass that came with tokens for beer, because I always need more glassware. It was reasonable too
