Quite a few breweries have started offering variety packs. Most of them are not very good though. The only one I have purchased was a Ska variety pack. The only thing good in it was Modus Hoperandi. Of the breweries distributed in your area, who do you wish would offer a variety pack?
    My top 3...

    1. Founders (Centennial IPA, Red's Rye, Porter and Dirty Bastard)
    2. Stone (IPA, Sublimely Self Righteous, Ruination, Arrogant Bastard)
    3. Sierra Nevada (Pale Ale, Torpedo, Stout, Seasonal)

I think you hit the nail on the head there. Founders would be phenomenol. Stone and SN would be great too.
I wouldn't mind a variety pack from SixPoint either (Sweet Action, Bengali Tiger, Righteous & The Crisp or all 6 core beers 2 of each) & Green Flash would be another with pretty much any lineup of their beers.

Cantillon actually does offer a variety pack if you go to their brewery, I think it's 20ish euros and has a classic gueuze, kriek and rose de gambrinus.

While it doesn't have exactly these 4 beers in it there is a variety case from Founders. Have bought a couple.

I was wondering if maybe they did these for select markets. Never seen one in the Kansas City area though. What beers were in the case?

Bell's also has variety cases packaged for Pennsylvania, I think the mix varies by season.

Stone had this a couple of years back at Costco. Don't remember the beers (included a smoked porter), but it was 8 bombers total. Was pretty awesome.

Yes we do! But I would have no need for a mixed pack with them....all I would want to drink was Shakespeare Stout after Shakespeare Stout, with a Hazelnut Brown (or 3) mixed in for good measure.

If you have a bottle shop or store that sells singles, you can make you own variety pack, although it will probably be at a premium.

Given Pennsylvania's shitty case laws, I love mix packs. Unfortunately there's usually one beer in there that you end up shaking your fist at.

There is a Mendocino mixer. I bought one at the brewery located in Saratoga, NY. I then saw the same mixer at a package store for two dollars less.

These are the first 3 that came to mind. I have to think it would behoove the brewers to offer these -- it prevents someone from trying one beer, not liking it, and then dismissing the whole brand. Likewise, it can show someone the breadth of the offerings right off the bat.
