Actually I changed my mind..... I was thinking currently.... but in all reality, I'm an older guy... after coming back from my first European Cruise in the Navy in the early 90's These are the breweries that really started to make an impact towards really good beer.

Hill Farmstead does no wrong except for hiding up in Northern Vermont and I rarely can get them.

Weihenstaphaner's lineup is awesome. I mean $10.99-$12.99 FOR 6 pack's for Vitus in Maryland? Are you kidding me? They are killing it at that price point for such an incredible beer. That stuff should be flying off the shelves.

Funky Buddha! Definitely said wow the first time I drank MBCP and Last Snow. Plus I love how creative they are in the types of beer they brew. Can't wait to pop open one of my bottles of Morning Wood.

    Cheers!

This brewery. I've had a fair amount of their beers, and have always enjoyed them all to a certain point. Some are just crazy good, like Red Angle, Montamerreto, and others I forget.
I've had pretty limited Jackie O's since they are not in my area, but what I have tried from them has been great as well.

A lot of you are saying great breweries that in my mind have consistently been great. The one I've been wowed by recently is Otter Creek. They went from a mediocre brewery to a phenomenal one with amazingly tasty and hoppy brews and still at a low price (exception being Double Dose). That's a wow.

Otherhalf brewing from brooklyn and pretty all their IPA's but green diamond and G is for green are stellar.

I found neshaminy to be a bit overrated to me. Nothing blew me away and their best beers BA Leon and Shape of hops to come were good, but nothing to seek out imo. I will say their brewery is a really great place to hang out though.

Jackie O's. I didn't like sours at all before I went to their one of their bottle releases. They made a believer out of me. After this weekend, my favorite saison now comes from Jackie O's. They do everything very well.

For the sake of not being a complete homer, the brewery outside of my state that blows me away is Revolution.

This is a pretty loaded question and there are a bunch of breweries that can be listed, but how about Chimay. They brew three beers and they are all rated "outstanding" or "world class by both us and the Bros. Can't really argue with those ratings.

Without a doubt Jester King, these guys do it up RIGHT & NICE, I am always thoroughly impressed with what they put out. I’ve heard that Jester King Sours give De Garde a run for their money. However I wouldn’t know and with that, ISO of De Garde!! Oh also Smog City with their Cuddle Bug, such an AWESOME beer!!!!!

Have to be Russian River. I live at the point where it takes a special trip to go there but close enough where it happens a few times a year. Plus, a few shops between here and there carry Pliny if I can make it there in time.

edit: I live in Lodi, and make wine, so Santa Rosa is where a lot of wine supplies and stainless gear comes from

Stone gets my vote. Yes I've had more stone needs than I would ever like to count, and I can not think of one I haven't enjoyed. They're flagship beers are so good I continue to drink them over a new product and the special releases continue to push boundaries and for lack of a better word "wow" me.

    Prairie gets honorable mention
