    Seven fifty is what I typically say. "Standard' is also appropriate, or just a "bottle" a lot of the time when it works if the size is commonly known. Size names are listed here, though obvioulsy not everyone follows these by any measure.

    "Seven Fifty" --- but if explaining it to a non-beer person, I might say a "champagne bottle".

    Seven-Fifty. Though if someone were to call it a bomber, it wouldn't rustle my jimmies.

    I have a friend who uses the term "bomber" interchangeably when referring to the 22 oz bottles and the 750 mL bottles. I always correct him, not because I'm a giant douche*, but just out of habit, because our conversations get confusing otherwise.

    Personally, I use "bomber" to refer to 22 oz and "seven fifty" to refer to 750s. While calling them a "fifth" might sound cooler, it's also a term I tend to associate with hard liquor.

    *disclaimer: I may or may not be a giant douche; just pointing out that I'm not correcting him because of that fact

    I had to look up what a bomber was, but why do people use ounces for one size but millilitres for the other?

    Bomber = 22oz

    I call a 750 bottle a "750" or a "large format bottle". those are my go to names.

    Well, in America, we will accept the metric system only in small doses, but in this case "Seven Fifty" is preferable because it's less syllables than "Twenty Five point Four".

    Yes, we always called 750 ml bottles of hard liquor "fifths" too.
