I work in the taproom at Abandon Brewery in Penn N.Y. I am hoping the brewers will bring me down and teach me how to brew.

I've found that a lot of beer friends are very highly educated (engineers, lawyers, PhDs in academia, etcetera). I'm not sure why that is but it's true.

Also, to the OPs question I'm one of the above I listed.

What do macro AAL folks do? Plumbers? Garbage men? Gentlemen club bouncers? Grunt work? Thread is intriguing. It shows that breweries can charge a lot more before a true turnaround. Don't tell em but most have the coins for any price point they throw at us

Lifeguard on the Beach in the Summer for 16 years. I try and get by playing music (sometimes pays well, sometimes nothing), but I usually end up getting a part time job at a music shop or liquor store to pay the bills. I recently interviewed for a sales position for my favorite brewery, fingers crossed !
I have a BA in Mathematics and went to school for teaching, I recently turned 30 and told myself when I graduated that once I was 30 I'd try being a teacher if my music career wasn't working, ehhhhh we'll see.
