I haven't really heard much about this beer, but it has always been something I would love to get my hands on. I have come across many different Fantomes before, but can never seem to find this one. Does this get less distribution than the other Fantome beers? Just curious. Cheers! http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/738/8984

I too would be curious... I know that we get Hiver and Printemps here in the States, but I have yet to ever see Ete or Automne. :slight_frown:

on top of those two, we have seen Magic Ghost, BBB Dark White, Chocolat, Noel, La Dalmatienne (Dark), Saison here in Colorado over the past year or two.

but like Thagr said, Ete and Automne have been "ghosts"

The only time I've had it was a couple of years ago in Belgium. And in fact, I only saw it exactly that one time, at Delirium Cafe, which is why I gobbled up the bottle. For whatever reason, I think it's just extremely low quantity, and it doesn't make it to the US. I've seen it once or twice for sale overseas, but it doesn't last long, and not in a while.

It's also the best Fantome IMO, at least of the ones that I've had.

I would guess that this does not see very much distribution to the United States.

I can help you out. I have a bottle of Ete and will be in San Francisco next week. BM me if you're still interested.

Here's a pic. I don't know how to tell what vintage it is. Doesn't say anywhere on the label or cork.

Anyone traded for this recently? What does it take to land one these days?

Haven't traded for one but had one a few months ago at a saison tasting (54 bottles deep) and it was def a highlight.

oh and I saw your review of it, if you are wondering, the number on the cork is the brewery's phone number.
