What ever happened to Red IPAs?

That could be the case. Here, it has an almost garnet hue, although it's a "dirty" brownish dark red to be sure. It is more malty than the usual IPA, at least the version we get here.

 

Suddenly I feel lucky to have Troegs Hopback Ale available regularly.

 

Not sure if it’s been mentioned yet but New Belgium just put out an anniversary beer that they are calling an Amber IPA.

I remember when Killian's beer was super popular. Every bar in Hoboken had it on tap-In retrospect it was not that bad. Of all the macro brews I really enjoyed Michelob dark, very delicious

 

If you had a keg of Killian's Red at a college party you were freaking baller.

 

I drink Killian's Red occasionally, like once a month. I like it occasionally. I prefer other Irish Red ales from Ireland when possible, aka Red IPA.
