What ever happened to Red IPAs?

    That could be the case. Here, it has an almost garnet hue, although it's a "dirty" brownish dark red to be sure. It is more malty than the usual IPA, at least the version we get here.

    I remember when Killian's beer was super popular. Every bar in Hoboken had it on tap-In retrospect it was not that bad. Of all the macro brews I really enjoyed Michelob dark, very delicious

    Guess I was a baller then - I remember a couple of decent kegs at parties in college (heck our goto beer was Molson Ice in college in the mid-90s in upstate NY).

    I drink Killian's Red occasionally, like once a month. I like it occasionally. I prefer other Irish Red ales from Ireland when possible, aka Red IPA.
