What happens if gelatin gets all mixed in the beer instead of poured on top?

Instead of gelatin poured on top, incorporated throughout...
    Just wondering.
May have to siphon out the beer after I poured in the gelatin.
    Thanks.

The gelatin mixes in the beer anyway, that's how it binds to the yeast and drops them out.

What? When I add gelatin it gets dissolved in water first, then added to beer. Mixes in completely.

And it pulls out haze causing proteins.
