Drinking the first lager I have ever brewed, but not my last. German Pilsner with a small dry hop of Saphire.

Looking forward to brewing more laggers in my cold Michigan basement this winter.

    cheers!

    Pearl summit smash.
Imperial House yeast might have gotten funked.
Oniony but drinkable. First time noticing onion from summit.
    1 oz @60
    2 oz@0
For 10 gallon batch at 5%
    3 oz Dryhop.
The other 5 with Conan is super tasty. 2 oz cascade 2 oz centennial 1 oz Columbus dryhops.
Not sure if the summit Dryhop made the house batch funky or if the yeast was to blame.

My all Chinook ipa. My second all grain beer and the second beer I ever kegged. It's been kegged almost 4 weeks and it is tasting super crisp and refreshing

    Guys night:

Smoked some pulled pork as well as Mac and cheese with bacon. On 2nd plate we learned, skip the bread and just put the pork on the Mac and cheese...mmmmmm

Rolled my kegerator outside and pouring a Galaxy, Equinox and citra pale. Yeah, I need a proper chalk board.

My oatmeal stout is by far my favorite beer right now, even with the 100+ temps

Dropped off some homebrews at this dude's place for a competition submission, and left with more of his own homebrews than I had brought!

Drinking his Identity Crisis clone - a hoppy porter. Tastes more like a black IPA, or black ale to me but I guess that's the reason for the name.

    Wow does that look amazing!

I am out in Cali just indulging in local macro/micro brews at the moment.

Drinking my first bottle of my Flanders Red aged on tart cherries. The cherries are definitely present and compliment the base beer nicely. The batch was split half and half, so there's some plain base bottles to compare it to as well. It's been about 6 weeks since bottling and isn't carbonated yet, but I also didn't re-yeast at all. Overall, definitely happy with how it turned out.

This rang a bell, so I checked my database. I have an "AngloAmerican" Pale Ale I used to make from time to time, and Identity Crisis is the name I used for the Raspberry Pints Display. Must be a thing.

It's funny, before naming any of my homebrews I'll just google the name and sure enough 99% of the time some other brewery out there has taken it! Hard to come up with an original name these days.

Drinking a centennial bomb IPA with simcoe Galaxy Dryhop. Super tasty. 10 gallons fermenting. Dryhopped yesterday and a little suspect cropping on top. Could be pellicle

Started the month off with the Dirty Curty DIPA, and that's how I'm ending it! Still bitter as F, but smoothed out overall. First time using a hop steeper in the keg. Don't know if anyone has done this, but it's worth a try! Great for the aroma. Cheers!
