DeWars 12... Don't think beer will do the trick tonight and tomorrow... ha-ha. Have some good IPAs in the fridge and some Imperial Stouts and Barelywines... Just have to see how long it takes to snowblow the drive way to decide on booze or beer... ha-ha.

Agreed. Just had the last batch (2011) on tap a few days ago... f'n awesome right now

Edit - whoops, forgot to answer the question. I'll be digging into the cellar for some of those "drink sooner than later" beers. IST '09-12 vert sounds like a good start!

Stout, for sure, either BCBS or maybe share a fresh bottle of Fayston Maple Imperial. Either way, gotta take it easy so I can get up to the hill early tomorrow.

Back from the store. 12pk Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and 4pk Bourbon County. That should get me through the storm.

I also will be cracking open my first NEBCO IST. I easily fall prey to peer pressure and crowd-following. Maybe I'll top it off with a Gandhi. Freeze local. Drink local.

You just beat me to it. I saw their beers at Wakefield Liquors for the first time this morning. Picked up a porter and an IPA and plan to try them out today.

    Breaking the weekend down...

Friday - Stouts: Polaris or Calvera from Rising Tide, Founders Imp Stout and maybe a Narwhal or two

    Saturday - IPA's: 01/04 Lagunitas IPA -> 01/24 Stone IPA -> 01/02 Lagunitas Sucks->01/08 Firestone Double Jack -> 01/31 MBC Lil-One.

Sunday - Barley Wines: Bigfoot 2012 & 2013, and then the RT Barley Wine...Anyone had this yet?

I haven't put any though into this

I've got a fresh keg of homebrewed Calypso IPA and a mass of imperial stouts and barleywines in the basement.

I'm halfway through a 2L growler of HF Susan that I picked yesterday. Got two other 2L growlers chilling in the fridge and might have to crack another one tomorrow. The weather is starting to get pretty bad around here.

Maybe some Bourbon County or CW BBW after. Got a ton of beer here to get me through this.

Thats good to know, the spices have been whats keeping me away from it. Not a huge fan of spices in beers.

    I have the following available:

6 Foolproof Golden Ales (new RI brewery!)
    6 Troeggs Nugget Nectars
    4 Ruthless Ryes
    3 Six Point 3 Beans
    2 Terrapin Wake n Bakes
    2 Jack's Abby Jabby Braus
    1 DFH 120 min
    1 Sucks
    1 Heady Topper
& a boat load of homebrew (sweet potato porter and some pale ales)

Lots to choose from......Honestly, my plan is to crush that sixer of Foolproof while I sit next to my fire pit and (assuming the power goes out) cook on the grill. The Heady probably will get consumed somewhere along the way as well.

With Night of the Barrels cancelled, I may have to open my lone FW 16. Maybe some sort of lambic as well. Also got some NN and double jack too.
