What is the value of CL Barrel Select series?

they're white whales that trade for dave, m, brute, blackbeerd, KH, etc.

 

They should go for other well rated, limited, brewery only beers. Black is sold out and I never heard a definite bottle count. I've only given them out as extras so I can't tell you what they trade for.

Mother Barrel is still on sale at the brewery and however many bottles you can get out of that gigantic wine barrel would be how many were made. These are not announced releases that everyone lines up in the morning for which is why they are still for sale.

 

I heard roughly 1000 bottles of each. Any that I sent out were extras to nice people, so not sure on 'value.' Funny that Barrel Select hype is basically dead now that it's a casual release...cheers to CL for that.

 

Same way with Allagash. Good for beer lovers, bad for traders.

While I have not made it to the new brewery (and thus havent gotten any new releases) I am very happy that CL is handling it this way - last time I was there was for CdC and the time before was for Rosso and those releases both got out of hand in terms of line cutting and running through the line multiple times and theft of beers. I agree, Cheers to CL for solving the problem.

 

Both are good beers valued at $15 each on site. Barrel Select Black is sold out at this point while Mother Barrel and Hops n Roses can still be purchased at the brewery. 1,000 bottles of each is the flying rumor. Personally I never bothered to ask about the bottle counts. If you're a fan of the styles I recommend them. I doubt they command whales but rather something brewery only interesting in return. Right now is the best time to trade for all these.
