Hitachino Nest Espresso Stout-they're from Japan. If you haven't tried their beers...you should. They have a few different IPAs, the stout, a hefe, a red. Good place.

Don't forget the Czech Republic and Ireland!

As for beers from other countries, I'd go with Hitachino Nest White Ale from Japan. It's an exceptional witbier.

    That one is excellent!

I'm going to have to go with Xyauyu from Baladin in Italy- it has a crazy oxidized quality, but in an excellent way that melds with the beer perfectly, almost like an undercurrent of butterscotch candies and amaretto cookies.

I was fortunate to have had it by the glass at Open Baladin in Italy. Very nice place, and surprisingly reasonable prices there, too. It definitely gave me a good window into their overall beer scene.

I second Xingu, but I also fondly remember Dragon Stout from Jamaica. Haven't found that one in quite awhile. Would like to see if my opinion of it is still the same 15 years later.

Well based on it not having been excluded I guess I'll go with Australia and Little Creatures Pale Ale. However, it won't be too many more years before Australia will be on the excluded list as the beer scene there is growing rapidly. (And I suspect @MrKennedy will be happy to agree with this assessment.)

I just had a sample of this the other day at the bar, and now I can't wait to crack my BA bottle of it.

I hear so much about Duchessic, but I don't feel like sinking another $11 into a small bottle. My first one spontaneously exploded one night.
