    Yuengling.

It was free, it was at the end of an 18 hour bus trip, and there was hockey on the TV. Just what I needed, when I needed it.

Had my first chance to try Kuhnhenn's BB4D this year and I was stunned... About the best thing I've ever tasted! That's my choice.

Parabola was just riduculously smooth, and tasty, and good, even with the high ibu's. Sucks and Hopslam both relatively fresh are my tie for second. Easy to see why Parabola is top ten and methinks it's actually a little underrated!

Going strictly on new brews I've rated in 2013 (i.e. - new to me) so far...

    1. Firestone Walker Wookey Jack
    2. Maine Beer Company King Titus
    3. Al's of Hampden / Pizza Boy Afternoon Delight
    4. Lagunitas Sucks
    5. Al's of Hampden / Pizza Boy Permasmile
    6. DuClaw Exile #1

Why 6? I'm exceedingly geeky and these were the only ones that were more than one std dev from my mean ranking (based on 1,100 reviews)...

got to have KBS for the first time ever... and on draft to boot, last weekend... I drank the one pint slowly over 3 hours, just chillin at the outdoor bar on a beautiful saturday...at least half the time I was drinking it, it was room temp and still delicious.

    The runners up would be:
    Columbus Brewing Creeper
    Weasel Boy's BA Anastasia
    Barley's Sexual Chocolate
    Black OPs

If we are talking beers that are new in 2013, I would have to say Great Lakes Alchemy Hour. I have tried many great beers this year for the first time, the stand out new to me would easily be Silva Stout by Green Flash.
