What is your favorite beer of 2013 thus far?

    Just tried Gandhi Bot and Sea Hag for the first time. Both are outstanding! I'm kind of blown away by how outstanding given the (relative) lack of hype. These are right up there with the best.

    Heady or Lagunitas Sucks, probably. I think Heady had a bit of the 'whale' factor playing into it, but both are excellent brews.

    Gotta say Ten Fidy....Just had another after a lond day out with my wife for her 50th birthday.....Had a Heady followed by a Hoptimum...Then a Ten Fidy...Damn!!! Thats a whoe lotta beer!

    I had my first Plead the Fifth this year and that's probably my favorite stout ever right now so that's probably in the lead. Had my first Hoptimum too though so maybe they can wrestle off.

    I tried lost abbey's angels share and love that. Don't know if it was a 2013 batch but poured in 2013. That or Parabola was great. I also had an amazing DIPA citra only beer on tap that I don't remember the name of.

    So far, I'd say Enjoy By, but 2013 Hoptimum wasn't far behind, IMO.

    Just had an Ale Smith Yule Smith Summer Seasonal DIPA last night and it was outstanding, knocked my socks off. Great balance, perfect summer DIPA. If you can get your hands on one, grab her.

    I'll go with Voodoo Apple Brandy Big Black Voodoo Daddy. It was the only Barrel Room Collection version I tried but it was incredible. I can't imagine how good the Pappy versions were.
