Prairie Gold is fantastic and new to me if not new this year. Also, I finally had a BORIS last night and loved it. Those come to mind as standouts I have had this year.

Hill Farmstead Susan, it even looks like OJ in a glass. Runner up goes to Allagash FV 13, very tasty.

I keep seeing this around but have yet to get it. Maybe I'll grab it sometime.

    As for me:

Alchemy Hour - This stuff ranks right up there with Hopslam as one of the best DIPAs coming out if the Midwest.

KBS - This year's batch is a lot better than previous years, IMO. I just did a three year vertical and the '13 won out. Easily the most balanced batch yet.

BCBS Cherry Rye - Another stellar variation by Goose Island.

Black Note - My first time having it this year. Mind blown.

I'm sure there are others that I'm forgetting, but those are the stand outs right now. And of course, I have other stuff in the cellar I haven't touched yet that will probably rank up here as well.

I doubt this beer was released for the first time in 2013, but it was new to me this year and I absolutely love it.

I've had more beer (variety) this year than all other years combined... So this will be tough.

    Standouts include
    Heady Topper (Thanks willbm3!)
    120m
Pliny (big ole thanks to jkbootlegger for these RR)
    RR Blind Pig
    RR Temptation
Nugget Nectar (another big thanks to will!)
    Unibroue La Terrible
New Glarus Winter Warmer (surprised the hell out of me)
    Deschutes Chainbreaker
    Zombie Dust
BCBS CS and CR (technically 2012 but I drank them this year)

But I think in the end, the all around winner was fresh KBS for me. Never in my life have I had such a potent BBA beer that was this easy to drink. I don't know what magic they're using. I had a 2012 vintage this week as well, and the fresh KBS is just so much better! Now I have a good excuse to polish off the 4 2013s I have left.

Looking forward to Doom, Parabola, and opening up the Huna I got from Chardlogic.

Tired Hands Mago Tago. All of their beers are great, but this one tops the heap.

Beachwood's Citraholic IPA. World class IPA from an amazing line up of IPA/DIPA's that define the term world class.

Best beer first introduced this year? Victory's session saison, Swing.

Best beer I've had since the beginning of the year? Fat Head's Head Hunter IPA.
