    Schlafly Tasmanian IPA was also an incredible surprise

    and the growler of Cigar City: Maduro brown I received in the mail last week rates pretty high for me

    Happy Hops by Russian River, Anicca by Half Acre/3 Floyd's, Baudoinia by Goose, 3rd Year Beer by Revolution, and Alchemy Hour by Great Lakes in terms of not only being beers I've had in 2013 but beers newly introduced in either late 2012 or early 2013.

    It has more to do with creating a good beer with your own hands, more than anything. Extremely rewarding.

    Lost Abbey's Deliverance is the best beer I've had this year. I know this is not the first time it's been brewed, but this is the first time I've had it. So damn good.

    New in 2013: hands down Clown Shoes Luchador En Fuego. Incredible!

    Other pre existing stand outs that I've had for the first time this year include CW Peruvian Morning, FW Sucaba and FFF Behemoth.
