What is your favorite beer release?

    I don't really track or stalk anything in particular as a release -- I get excited about "releasing" myself when I get to return to Chicago (next weekend!) or to Portland (?) for mass walking tours of all breweries, beers I love. That's what's exciting to me.... otherwise, I buy what I find but I am not Captain Ahab. Sorry, BA, to disappoint. :l

    Half-Acre's Galactic Double Daisy Cutter... always fun going to Half-Acre, and after picking it up you can hang out at the tap room and enjoy some more.

    Probably Zwanze day. Just for the spectacle of it.
    For "normal" beers, it's always nice to get that first taste of oktoberfest and even pumpkin beer after 8-9 months.
    While not one single beer, I love when the CO winter beers (the "ion" beers) hit the shelves.

    I always look forward to Schafly's release of their Tasmanian IPA in September/October. Hands down my favorite release and one that I look forward to all year.

    Up north, I'd have to say Troegs Hopknife. New release this year but one of the best wet hopped IPAs I've had.
    Down south I'd go with Creature Comforts Koko Buni.
