What is your favorite beer that no one knows about?

    So Rymar9 and I are enjoying some beers right now and this topic just came up. Both of our votes go for Nantahala Noon Day IPA. It is absolutely fantastic but relatively unknown as it is a localish brew that is draft only. What is your favorite beer that is unknown to the rest of us?

    Fresh Schonramer Pils is tough to beat, and doesn't seem to be very well known.

    Helltown Brewing's DIPA Idle Hands. This little Mt. Pleasant PA brewery is producing some fantastic beer and is just getting started. A little more well known is Intuition Ale Works I-10 IPA, another great new beer from a great new brewery.

    Mayflower Spring Hop-- but any MA craft beer lover knows about it (and if they haven't-- then i feel bad for them)

    Blatant IPA, good and pretty hard to find.

    Moby D is another one. Just Beer has absolutely NO marketing or even reliable distribution. i still love the easy drinking ales they've been putting out though.

    I was excited to try that one but it was a let down. Fairly boozy for an ipa and doesn't compare to something like surly. I had it after drinking furious and abrasive all week so maybe that had a hand in it.

    Great Call!!!! I'm hoping to see Mayflower Spring on shelves soon.
    Ipswich Harvest Ale. Really great hopforward seasonal during Fall.
    Berkshire Coffeehouse porter is also wicked good IMO.

    Love drinking local.

    For the money Dundee Kolsch Style Ale is great beer at a great price, I also enjoy Bells Hop Slam but everyone knows about. You really can't beat Fransikaner Dunkel Weisse this time of the year.
