Ok. Thanks for the response. I actually first tried Sixpoint at a bar in Meadville, PA about two years ago, which is why I thought it was strange that you couldn't get it up here. I wonder how that bar got their hands on it if it's not available for distribution here.

Wisconsin is pretty lucky, and we're getting Ballast Point and Surly next year. So: Great Divide, Odell, Stone (meh), and I'd love to see some Chicago breweries expand to us as they grow: Half Acre, Revolution, Pipeworks.

But most of all: Knee Deep. Send me some Simtra.

Basically, what other Ohio people have already said... Firestone Walker, Boulevard, Terrapin, and Odell's are the four pretty widely distributed breweries that come immediately to mind. Although, Boulevard will begin distributing here in January, and I heard a rumour that Firestone Walker may be coming to Kentucky in the near future (which works out for me since I'm in southern Ohio). Also, I realize this has already been pointed out many times over in this thread, but allow me to join the chorus...some people have an interesting definition of "distributes widely".

Deschutes has been here for awhile now and I still havent seen Obsidian other than a mix 12 that I will surely end up buying soon. I think it's appropriate that they and Great Lakes started the same year as they are very comparible. They both make a wide variety of styles very well. I would love to see Red Chair be year round.

Currently, nothing. But that's the side perk of living in a corner where three states meet, in a metropolitan area full of excessively-sized stores that pride themselves on carrying literally every freaking beer they can possibly order from any distributor.

However, it's looking like the girlfriend and I may be moving to the middle of Iowa sometime in the next year, in which case my answer will likely change to Great Lakes. Unless I am pleasantly surprised to find their stuff out that way.

Weird, the only time I've seen Obsidian has been on tap. I didn't even think it was available in any bottled form in Ohio.

Odd, when I saw this thread, for some reason I too thought about the fact that Obsidian is not available here (I believe I've maybe seen the mix pack around). I'm not sure I've ever even seen it on tap before. Strikes me as odd seeing as how we get distribution of their less availble annual releases such as Abyss and Black Butte Anniversary. I'll second Red Chair!

No kidding? That just seems weird, although I've seen weirder. I'd figure that's one of their best sellers.

The last I heard it was only in the western part of PA. If it's in the Lehigh Valley I'll have to look into getting some. Thanks.

I want to know why the Bruery goes to WI but not MN. Goddamnit. I'm luckily a reserve member with a great trustee so I get all the beers I want anyways, but it would be nice to be able to easily snatch up the regulars like ToD and Oude Tart without taking a trip to WI.

Really surprised those breweries got to 19 and 9 states respectively. Thought it was closer to about 5 each.

For me Deschutes and Bells. Get to NJ soon please.

RR distributes to 4 states (barely) and MS distributes to 5. Don't think those are widely distributed breweries.
