I'm a sucker for cheap beer at a tailgate, but if you had your beer of choice, what would be your ideal tailgating food to wash down with your fine alcoholic beverage?

I love a nice Filet Mignon shish-ka-bob, with peppers, onions, mushrooms...anything, so long as its on the skewer.

I'm going to go ahead with bratwurst on a roll with sauerkraut and spicy mustard.

I ran tailgates before the Giants games for years.
Every week we had a theme. Didn't matter what we made, the most popular item was always
    Hotdogs wrapped in dough.

My personal favorite, scallops wrapped in Prosciutto

I will marinate steak and chicken and cut up peppers and onions and put on a skewer and love tailgating with a cooler full of random ipas. Also love smoking Boston butts as well.

Cincinnati style chili, chili dogs, bbq chips, pepto bismol and keep it coming!

I would add the caveat of North Carolina style with slaw.

I like to have ABTs with my beer. ABT's are Atomic Buffalo Turds, aka jalapeno poppers. I usually deseed and devein (my family consists of a few wusses) and put a combination of cheese inside a half, then wrap the entire thing in bacon.

So essentially it is half of a jalapeno used as a cheese boat with bacon wrapping.

I end up smoking these on my big green egg pretty often.

While I love all kinds of diverse and exotic foods, I still LOVE hot dogs. So what if they are just "lips and assholes?"

Oh lord, I burst into laughter reading this at work, someone came to check on me. I've just never heard them called that before.

Don't ABTs usually have little smokie sausages in there too?

    OMG YES!

    Sounds about perfect when tailgaiting.

Some recipes do, but I omit them. Really you can do a lot of different combinations - I usually stick to cream cheese with cheddar, but I know some guys that add ground turkey (cooked). It really depends on what you want.

I usually get a hankering for good crispy buffalo wings, beer brats, a good pizza dip and one of my favotires, and super simple - garlic stuffed olives. Those things are so savory and you should be able to find a jar at any supermarket. I really liked the double stuffed garlic and jalapeno olives.

    Yeah. Just wondering.

We have cookouts often at work. Sometimes we'll add in smoked brisket or pulled pork into the mix. Sometimes we'll batter.them and fry them up too. Lots of awesome combos, for sure.

If it's hot, I enjoy a Corona & hot dogs or a cheeseburger.

If it's cold, I enjoy my Guinness while I have chili.

Gotta go with the brats topped with lots of onion and some mustard.
