Well then, what's your boyfriend's favorite beer. BA is a pretty liberal place, we won't judge.

My wife does not like beer and every time I open a new one I encourage her to take a sip and I see the same look on her face after the sip..... However, she tried my 2009 SA Utopias a few months ago and actually liked it. Of course she did, at $160/bottle!! LOL

My fiancee's goto is Raging Bitch. It's cheap, high octane, and tastes great.

I've also got her hooked on imperial stouts and working slowly on sours (loves petrus aged pale and fou foune)

Apple ale is the current favorite, serendipity and raspberry tart were hits too. Fruit sours are her favorite, lighter styles like pilsners and kolschs are staples. She generaly doesn't like ipas but will drink heady, abner, or double sunshine, go figure....

Yeah, saw that. We live in DC, so don't currently have regular access to NG anyway. We were in Wisconsin over the holidays, and were able to bring a few bottles back, luckily.

Unfortunately, it's sours. She drinks about 1/4 the beer I do, yet spends about the same because she has developed expensive taste.

Goose Island Green line and Wells Banana Bread beer. I have to admit I kind of like the banana bread beer a little too. For a gimmicky beer I think it achieves exactly what it is trying to accomplish.

Without a doubt I would have to say flower power. Luckily she is a hop head like me and every time she sees FP on the menu she stops looking and waits for me to choose between the 10 beers I'm stuck on.
