    Heatwave incoming…

A beer I’ve only had once before,

Through a can of each from my haul, drank oldest to newest, and my official rankings are:

    Very Hazy (12/6/22)

Very HHHazyyy (no date on first can)

    Very Sappy (12/13/22)

King Jjjuliusss (12/22/22)(I’ve only had this once before, but unimpressive revisit. Dull flavors and a bit of astringent finish, freshest can)

Super Sap (11/29/22)(oldest can date of the bunch. Late November vs December on the rest)

This is a fun beer. WEIRD and tasty. Definitely has a Sunday Brunch vibe, and probably more suitable to late Spring and Summer weather, and a garden party. As for me, it’s my last can and I’m sitting in the dark, reading about Viking beer. TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE !! Still tasty nonetheless.

Sip of Sunshine -- found it fresh at a store near my house and thought "Hey, I haven't had that in a while." It's as delicious as I remember. A really great beer.

Never had a Fidens or Troon beer so let’s knock out both hype beasts in one can. Thanks to @M-Fox24 for the generosity.

The Bones of the Things Around Us (DIPA). Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, Amarillo. 8.5% ABV. Canned 11/25/22.

Went out after work for a coworkers low key retirement farewell, and enjoyed a zombie dust on draft, which I rarely see on tap at the bars and restaurants I frequent.
Home now and enjoying Treehouse’s DIPA Wonderment, which is hopped with Nelson, Galaxy, Strata and Citra. Maybe it’ll get better as it warms, or maybe my palate needs a break, but it tastes kinda ordinary to me.

Back from the bar with a belly full of Yuengling as I wanted to catch the end of the Celts on a better tv, and ready for a beer upgrade.
Stopped in at Fort Point Market today when in the area doing Putt Shack with the family. Among the goodies I grabbed is this WCIPA, Extant, that is my first from Forest & Main

No more work until Tuesday, so another special beer for the holiday season. A bomber of 2016 East End Brewing (Pittsburgh, PA) Gratitude. They sell aged vintages at the brewery, picked this one up this past summer

while many songs from the Flecktones show off the technical virtuosity of the band members, the roughly last two minutes of this medley is a beautiful melodic section that gives me the chills everytime. music can be a hell of a drug sometimes, can't explain.

Now that I’m home, I thought I’d give Wild East another chance to be my favorite beer of the day while sticking with the style theme. Nope. That still goes to Fifth Hammer.

Seems so. No tables outside anymore. Barrels for standing beers, but we brought a blanket as have others for kids and as a buffer from the stones.

So I saw Shilling today at the new Total Wines in Totowa...so I bought Shilling...and drank an Alexandr. It was delicious but $13 for a 4 pk of delicious pilsners is a bit steep for me. Hopefully they get others in, will surely try them!
