Wheat beers and saisons are generally on my "not buy" list. Smoked beers are freakin' terrible. Maybe I'll grow into them, but right now I would rather not drink than drink a smoked beer--that's saying something.

    IPA's, IPA's, IPA's, IPA's, IPA's, IPA's, IPA's and IPA's, did I mention IPA's.

No styles I don't like, but I rarely drink wee heavies, brown ales, ambers, or bocks. Kinda burned out on DIPAs, at the moment, but my taste for those comes and goes. I used to feel that way about smoked beers, but Alaskan smoked porter is pretty great. The smokiness has to be done lightly though. Surly Smoke tastes like I'm drinking a campfire.

Double UMPA imperial IPA's that are literally brewers droop in a bottle with no balance of any other flavor that a pine tree, rauchbeire that is overly smoked like bad Bacos artificial bacon pieces, bourbon barrel beers overdone with some much bourbon flavor I might as well hit the local hick bar and have a boiler maker, and Flemish sours with "breit" that show a brewers lack of care of what contaminants go into a beer or how God awful sour it is.....had so few of those that are good it is sad for what I have spent over the years on so many of them.

For me it is the Belgian Tripel. I love dubbels and quads but the tripels typically strike out for me.

I don't think I have had a style I don't like....just ones I like less and can only drink in small quantities...saisons, fruit beers, pumpkin beers, shandies, and strong ales I can enjoy one or two...especially if paired with the right foods...in my opinion many many beers are not meant to be consumed in quantity or unaccompanied by food

Black / Brown IPAs are the worst trend in craft beer right now. Not a fan of most brown ales either, but willing to try imperial or sweeter versions.

I'm not fond of smoked beers. Ironically, I grew up for a short time in Bamberg, home to one of the best ( they say ) smoked beers.

I love smoked foods, just keep it away from my beer.

I just can't comprehend the dislike for wild/sour ales.. Dear Jesus, it's just not normal!!!

It was once IPAs but as of late I have developed a taste for a few of them here and there. I have been trying to expand. I have no place on my palette for sours however and do not see that ever changing.

There are styles I'm not crazy about, but there are still examples from each style I love.
    Not crazy about...
    Porters - Everett was amazing
Saisons - Can't wait for the new batch of Love Buzz coming next week
Black IPA - love Wookey Jack

I would love any recommendations for a "sour stout" that is any good. I've tried a couple, and I'm not sure that combination of flavors could ever be any good.
