So with the New Belgium announcement yesterday and with Sierra Nevada already coming, what other breweries do you think should expand and put a brewery in Asheville? My top two would be Deschutes and Russian River.

I'd just like to see them expand distribution to NC before I go and dream of full on operational expansion

I know it might be too close, but please oh please bring Founders or Bell's one day!

The thing is that Deschutes may need to open an east coast brewery to have the capacity to distribute in this part of the country (or so the rumors go). If that's what it takes, then bring it on!

I agree. I dont really care if there is only one brewery in the state, as long as we can have ALL breweries distributed/available in NC. I would like to see more WC breweries like those mentioned (Deschutes, Russian River). NC is becoming an awesome state for beer, for sure. Glad I was here to experience all this madness.

A Deschutes operation here would make me smile.
