Big Eye too for that matter. As good if not better than Sculpin.
Now that I think about it, basically every Fat Heads that they nixed from packaging/distro these past two or so years:
Jack Straw Pils, Sorcerer, Pimp My Sleigh, Bean Me Up, Bonehead Red, Zeus Juice...
Pretty Things - Our Finest Regards. I still have dreams about the first time I popped the cap on that bad boy. My most favorite Barleywine.
Wookey Jack and most other Black IPAs/Cascadian Dark Ales
OB Hotbox Coffee IPA
DFH Indian Brown
Hopefully Philadelphia or Bucks county?
'fraid not. The four counties are Lancaster, Berks, Chester and Delaware.
Do you have any friends in any of those counties that could order for you?
I was contemplating asking a friend I know in Chester County to order a four-pack of Stoudts Kellerbier a month or so ago but I didn't.
Ahh good ol delco. I do have friends there.
SN Ruthless Rye
FW Double DBA
Double Bastard & OG
Georgia is evidently mean to its beer drinkers. Maybe I don’t have it soooo bad up north here.
New York Beer Project’s Thee Barleywine.
I can’t convince them to reprise it. I try. I email them every now and again. It was a beast.
It’s local, so most of you won’t know them or it. I would send you some, but you know, THEY WONT BREW IT FOR ME!
Preach. I immensely enjoy a good barleywine, but other than SN, there’s not a lot of offerings.
I have home brew equipment. I should try my own instead of pining.
I have a handful of 2012 Pierre Jacques or however it’s spelled. Local store had them sitting in the discount bin. Very tasty.
I’d “settle” for plain SMS.
Dogfish Head Squall IPA
Try bugging them for the recipe. Maybe you can brew your own.
Magic Hat Fat Angel
Michael Shae's Irish Amber
Magic Hat Blind Faith
Otter Creek Pale Ale
Sam Adams Double Bock
Central Waters Space Ghost
MacAndrews Scotch Ale. That's the one with the Airedale on the label.
21st Amendment Hop Crisis
Stone Suede Imperial Porter
wonderfully balanced and soft as silk
Pretty sure I saw some cellared bottles of that for sale at Davis Beer Shoppe yesterday.
+1 on the emphasized brews. And i recall a wonderful beer from Deschutes called Hop in the Dark. I remember having it at PDX on tap at Gustav's in 2010 and Arizona received bombers for a few years around that time. Good stuff!
Stone Sublimely Self Righteous Ale
I'll second this, and add Young's Strong London
I'm not sure if it's retired or not, but it wasn't there this year. Yummi Bear from Surly was one of the best West-Coast IPAs I've had.
I wish Sierra Nevada would bring back the Glissade Bock and brown ale; both were seasonal offerings that I thought should have stayed in the rotation longer.
Deschutes Cinder Cone
Full Sail Top Sail
McTarnahans Blackwatch Cream Porter
Fort George Suicide Squeeze..the original ISA
And an old favorite from my early craft days..Sam Adams Scotch Ale
Firestone Walker Pale 31
Topa Topa/Firestone Walker collaboration Hazy Pale Ale
I always had a soft spot for NEBCo Atlantic Amber, and Sierra Nevada Wheat...
Only retired because the company closed their doors, but Barley Forge's, The Patsy was my go to coconut rye stout. Even though they closed Halloween in 2019, I've got one final can in the mini fridge.
pretty sure whirlwind is coming back - or at least a beer called whirlwind - not sure if it’s the same or not
I would like Smuttynose bring back Really Old Brown Dog.
Good call, and their Christmas beer was always a treat too, in the old school SoNo days... And of course Gold Stock, but at least they still brew that every now and again.
Ommegang’s Adoration....maybe not retired but I haven’t seen it for a couple years.
Does Stone Ruination count?
Fan of those myself. While waiting for them to return, I encourage you to seek out Smog City California Love for a damn delicious Imperial red Ale.
And Stone Subliminaly Self Righteous...
