I have a co worker headed to northern woods of Minnesota in a week or two and he said he'd be on the outlook for some Surly brews; just wondering if he'll find any in the Duluth area .. I appreciate the head's up.

You'll probably want to post this over in the Midwest forum, although I'll admit that at first glance it seems like this forum would make more sense when talking about Duluth.

I would think some MN BA's on the Midwest board should be able to help you out. Also, tell your friend to grab you as much Furious as he can. Stuff's delicious.

I fish north of Duluth every Memorial Day weekend. I always stop at Pike Lake Liquors in Hermantown on the way up (and back) and stock up on Surly -- one of the employees there is a big Surly fan and stocks everything available.

When I was there, they had Furious, Cynical, Hell, Bender, and Coffee Bender (and I think Bitter Brewer as well, but I pass on that one.)

Realize that this is the wrong forum, but I always kind of lump MN in the Great Lakes region (Especially Duluth).

Heading up to northern MN on 9/1, and will be stopping in Duluth for lunch / drinks at Fitgers (have greatly enjoyed the beers at festivals and events, but never been to the brewery itself). Really hopping to grab some Surly cans for the week of fishing, but most of the data on the places section of BA seems outdated and could only find this thread by searching.

Aside from WolfKeeper's suggestion of Pike Lake Liquors, any other locations that are guaranteed to have a selection of Surly beers available? Looks like lots of options based on Surly's beer finder, but no clue how up to date / accurate that is either. Closer to Fitgers the better, but willing to drive a fair bit to ensure I get my fix for the week.

Thanks for the assistance and cheers!
