With only about one good pour left from my bottle of 2011 Utopias, I've started to think... What can I do with that nifty bottle once it is empty? Seems a waste just to drop the little ceramic brew kettle in the recycling bin, but I don't want it just sitting on the shelf taunting me either ("Ha! Remember what you once had?").

So... What have other people done?

Use it as a decanter for bourbon or other spirits.

I have an awesome idea, but I'll save that for cannabisadvocate.com

I considered this. Any suggestions on brand? I do not know bourbon or cognac very well, and I suspect the maple sweetness permeated the inside the bottle pretty thoroughly.

That's not really how it works......if it was a more porous material then sure (like, say, a wooden barrel?)....but a quick wash would probably clean it out quite easily.

EDIT: And bourbon/cognac are far too strong to allow a tiny little bit of Utopias to impart any sort of noticable influence.

I just keep mine on display.

I think you're fine with respect to the absorbtion. I doubt SA would bottle in something that would react with the liquid, especially given how long they expect it to stay in the bottle.

What is the inner bottle lined with?

And I laughed at Rstang's idea.

Refill it and sell it on ebay. The contents are incidental anyway.

Fill it with pudding and name it Reba.

Or just put it on a shelf and call it a day.

    Make it a lamp
Make it a flower vase for the holidays
    Make it a gravy bowl

    Cheers!

Curious question: has anyone found a way to remove the outer layer of the bottle?

What do you name it if it's filled with gravy?

Just make sure you don't crack it when you are drilling the hole for the slide.

    Elvis?
I'd suggest Rex Ryan but he apparantly dropped a bunch of weight over the offseason.
