Probably 2018 Night of the Funk. We just couldn’t go in 2019. Assuming that was held that year.
We did FUNK Boston in 2019. Basically Night of the Funk x three sessions.
Last one I went to was Whales, Ales and Salty Tales 2019. Cold Spring Harbor, NY
Just a little over a week ago! The NJ Battleship beer fest!!
Murphy’s Beer Fest a couple of weeks ago.
My wife and I went to the Summertime Brew Fest in Greensboro, NC on 24JUL21. Our 1st in over a year. It is the best in our opinion. And we have 3 more Brew Fests lined up; Brew & 'Que in Seneca 06SEP21 Drafts on Drayton 25SEP21, Charleston Beer Fest 09OCT21 & Greenville Craft Fest on 09NOV21.
So glad these are back.
Katy Wild West Brew Fest, April 2019.
Grovetoberfest, Miami FL, October 2019 - VIP.,.
Otherhalf’s Pastrytown in Brooklyn NY in March 2020
Bend Brewfest 2019. Been going for many years and took a day off work to volunteer to pour. It was my first time volunteering in a while but had a blast.
Modern Times' Carnival of Caffeination in February of 2020. Crazy considering everything would shut down a month later.
Great Canadian Beer Fest in Victoria, BC in Sept. 2019. Canada's large and oldest beer fest. Fantastic outdoor event, which I have been a volunteer at for more than a decade.
SFBeerWeek 2020 (Feb., about a month before the pandemic shelter-in-place and shut down orders. Biggest event was The Bistro (Hayward, CA) DIPA/TIPA Fest, which always has a ton of people.
My last in-person beer fest coincides with Todd's. But it was in Berwyn, IL., at a live music venue called Wire [c.v.] on Saturday, 1 February 2020. It was for the "Brewers Rock Fest".
Here are a selection of the photographs I took that afternoon and evening. I also include what was the brewery assortment.
Amazingly, I did not attend the Chicago Beer Society's "Day (| Night) of the Living Ales" which was on Sat., 7 March 2020, and which I suspect a number of other Beer Advocate respondents will cite. (More shockingly, somebody has alluded that he had likely contracted COVID-19 [without knowing that] and spread it at both sessions. ) I did not attend DotLA because I could not decide whether I should expend the higher price for the day session, or go to the night session.
Day of the Living Ales (DotLA) on March 7, 2020. There was also the Drunk Monk Challenge homebrew competition the following weekend which was not exactly a fest, but it was the last beer event I attended. We were bumping elbows instead of shaking hands, but no masks yet.
Last time they had an Empire Brewfest in Syracuse NY at the State Fairgrounds. Been to 3 or 4 events there of that type. Last time might have been 2019, possibly 2018...hard to remember... getting through '20 and '21 has wiped my brain of fun memories.
Summertime Brews Festival 2016 Greensboro. Worked many through the years and just might like them better now since I'm retired from the trade. "Come on just fill that up" was the most common comment even before any thank you. I do miss lots of the brewers and other distributors.
Long time ago at the Navy Yard in Philly, it was horrible. I did love the old Stoudts festivals way back.
I doubt I will be going back to a fest again. Besides Stoudts I never really enjoyed them. Rather just go get a few good pints with friends.
Wow! That would be the 2019 Oklahoma Craft Beer Festival, May 18, at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds. That year and previous years, I did a 5K in the morning for the Oklahoma City Indian Health Clinic and the beer fest at the afternoon or evening session. Obviously, it wasn't held in 2020, neither event. But, yeah, I miss that!
I was lucky enough to attend the Beer Zombies 420 Beer Festival in Las Vegas on April 20. Yes, it was amazing!
It was the 2020 EBF in Boston at the Cyclorama! Honestly that was the best fest I'd ever been to, nostalgia from the earlier fests (I started going in 2008) and the awesome beers were second to none!
