Lot of awesome brews this year. TH line was insane!

    1. Jackie O's: Dark Apparition w/ Nuts- so, so nutty, with all of the other deep, dark flavors of stout. Espresso, roast, chocolate, subtle almond and cashew. Absolutely phenomenal.
    2. Treehouse: Vanilla Bean Triple Shot- layers of smooth milk chocolate and coffee, mixed with potent vanilla punch.
    3. Proclamation Harper 2: oaky, with tons of cherry character, and so much tart.
    4. Rare Barrel: Impossible Soul- incredibly tart, with a balanced mix of cherry, lemon and funk. Also delicious was the back to back with Map of the Sun.
    5. Crux Fermentation: Nordic Saison- one of the last beers I had, but it was subtle, with lots of blackberry sour, subtle rose water and mild honey flavor. Very complex and yummy.

Disappointments: did not like the three Funky Buddha beers I had at all (Lemon-Meringue, Strawberry Shortcake, and Tip da Tip). Tasted artificial to me.

I like jackie o's but wasnt expecting their beer to blow me away like it did, same with the upland red...not to mention i had lambo door way before this festival when they werent hyped at all and i knew it was the real deal...sorry man, great breweries make great beers

Marz was really good, super interesting styles, especially the Pho based one. Forbidden Root was interesting, I was excited to try their beers. Wicked Weed's Framboos Morte was awesome, as well as Rare Barrels sours.

I'm just gonna put it out there now: I'm not a fan of Treehouse! I've had 4 of their beers now and haven't been blown away at all. The only one that was pretty good was Single Shot in the can.
  10. NAPO

1-The North Brewing:God Complex-Highlight of the night for me.
2-CBC:You enjoy my stout with coconut-Coconut flakes floating around...enough said.
3-Jackie O's Dark Apparition with nuts- Thickest mouthfeel ever.
4-CBC:Cerisse Cassee-OMG, I need to get my ass back to CBC.
5.Rare Barrel: Map of the Sun.

I had all of those TH beers so I skipped it. and Kane Brewing was disappointing. Mexican Brunch and ANTEAD with coconut were good, but not great. Wat too much hype.

    2. Give Me Truth
    3. Trickery
    4. Mexican Brunch
    5. Maple Bourbon Double Negative
Honorable Mention: Lumen and Grandis. Both were terrific.

Vanilla Bean Triple Shot was a huge disappointment. No vanilla in the nose and hardly any in the flavor profile. The coffee has a stale, coffee grounds-like note to it.

Kane and Grimm killed it. So many great beers from both breweries.

In a room full of so many hyped beers, it was shocking to see the Lost Abbey table so empty. Used to be one of the longest lines at the fest. How the times have changes. Anyone who missed Tomme at his table missed what were some of my best beers of the night. He brought pure brilliance.
My Top 5 of the ones I tasted:

    1. Lost Abbey-Experimental Barrel C9
    2. Jackie O's- Evelyn
    3. Lost Abbey-House Sour 1
    4. Prarie-BA Bomb!
    5. Proclamation-Harper 2 (Great to see Proclamation tearing it up and getting so much love yesterday)
    6. Two Roads-Hexotic (had to add a 6th because this beer was so damn good).

Due South - Coconut Bay Breeze
Relic Brewery - Fore (beer of the fest for me)
    Slumbrew - Porter for Paradise
    Rare Barrel - Forces Unseen

As far as shittiest beer - Ballast Point Coconut Victory at Sea. Blech. Bitter in the wrong way. Just terrible.

Agree, shocking that the Bruery had little to no line all day. BT variants may have changed that but hell, even last year with BT there was no real line.

Tough Love from Crux was really good, had 4 pours. Talked to GM from there at Row 34 after, very good guy.

I had a list of all of the beers and what I had, but of course when I got back to hotel room realized I lost it somewhere along the way. Off the top of my head also enjoyed BA BQE, BA Bomb and a sour from Upland.

Great event, so well run. Hats off to the bros for putting on this event.

Oh yeah, meeting Sam from DFH was cool, he was so positive and cordial, truly a rock star in the craft beer world.

Best beer I had yesterday was Mettle at Row 34 so good, Trillium amazing brewery.

Briney Melon Gose - Anderson Valley
Cerisse Cassee - Cambridge Brewing Co.
    Delusions of Grandeur - Foundation
    Money and Atypical - Barrier
Mexican Brunch - Kane I new this would be good, but it exceeded my expectations.
