Stonehorse Citra IPA by Devil's Purse Brewing Company. First beer I've tried from this brewery. Not bad at all. Took a chance and got a keg of it!

    The new taplist:

1.) Resurgence (German Pils hopped with Tettnanger & Saaz) - 5.3% ABV
2.) Beware the Moon (Traditional English Porter) - 5.3% ABV
3.) It'll be Ready Next Wednesday (NE Session Pale) - 4.6% ABV
    4.) Dunkel - 4.5% ABV

Nice mix of low ABV stuff before the big ones hit shortly... I have a Doppelbock in the fermenter, along with an upcoming Nelson NE IPA and Weizenbock to be brewed, which have relatively quick turnarounds.

Forgot to update this, put on a keg of Campfire Stout by High Water Brewing a few weeks back. Finally got a stout as a keg. Also first time I've had a "s'mores" type stout that didn't taste awful. Its actually really good.

    Current Taplist:

    1.) Buena Gente (Weizenbock) - 7.8%
    2.) Feet Don't Fail Me Now! (Kolsch w/ Hallertau Blanc) - 5.5%
3.) Death Bat Redux (NE DIPA w/ CTZ, Nelson, Galaxy, El Dorado & Exp. Tangerine) - 8.5%

Dunkel is about to subbed with a keg of Victory's Prima Pils by this weekend... Then it will go back on once Prima has kicked (or another spot opens up).

    Current Taplist..

1.) Buena Gente (Weizenbock) - 7.8% - Still on tap because it was taken off while we finished up a keg of a BA Stout I had set aside for a few months... Just put back on the other day to finish up (1/3 keg left).

2.) Springtoberfest - 6.0% - Traditional Festbier with Barke Pils, Munich, Vienna and Carahell.

3.) Smoke 3.14 - 5.1% - Rauchbier brewed with a Kolsch yeast. 45% Beech, 25% Cherry and 25% Mesquite Wood smoked malt in the grist (balance of Caramunich and Acidulated).

    4.) Victory's Prima Pils!

    On deck:

    Doppelbock
    English Mild
    Apricot and Mango Berliner
And potentially Sierra Nevada's Summerfest for my guest tap.

This is the XXI annual Memorial Day weekend Boogie Shakedown.
Keg-a-Pussy is alive and well. 7 rotating faucets of real cold beer.

We drink beer, grill meat and get down with a some great bands in the Finger Lakes. The weather held up nicely, and in these parts there is no guarantee. Shakedowns of the past have indeed seen some flurries!

This is how we do it in our part of America. Hopefully your jive was as much fun.

Not sure how Illinois is, but try a local brewery. Can't go wrong with a Summer offering.

Not sure where in Chicagoland you're located. I'm in the far south burbs (Frankfort) and kegs (of some sort or another) are usually always available thru a local brewery, or can be ordered from the stellar bottle shop/taproom The Open Bottle in Tinley Park (as well as thru their website).

Facebook message pipeworks. Can usually get a fresh keg of nvu or something else freshly filled in disposable 1/6 barrels. I always have nvu on one tap, alarmist le jus is currently on the other. Used keg submission form on their website
