Oberon was probably the first, but Dogfish Head Aprihop, Stone Arrogant Bastard solidified the infatuation.

At one point, I remember Bass being the greatest beer I'd ever tried. I guess I went (up!) from there

It is a slippery slop, I have moved fairly effortlessly into barrel aged beers and now it is hard to "fall in love" with much else... Black Tuesday Ruined me!

If I am not counting the tasty brews I was accustomed while stationed in Germany back in early 90's. The first craft beer that I ever tasted back in 2000 was a Stone IPA. This one got me hooked and interested in craft beer. Hop beers still being my favorite style.

Pete's Wicked Strawberry Blonde was the first non Bud/Coors/Miller product that I consumed. I bought in back in 2001, and it was the first legal beer that I drank, and the first six pack that I purchased.

I've always liked beer. Lots of stuff piqued my interest over the years (Sierra, Lagunitas, Odell, etc.) but what got me neck-deep into it was Zombie Dust. Blew my mind the first time I had it.
