So low flavor is a bigger offence than bad flavor? Well that explains alot of what's happening in craft beer today. :-)

Even though I walk by it on almost a daily basis, I've never succumbed to the power of the "swamp ass", as it was described by one reviewer. Never will.

I dunno, my sample of a kolsch or something from Portico at last year's ACBF was pretty terrible. And last year's Mayflower Summer was no shining star either. And you got High and Mighty and whatever else is brewed out of Paper City to pick from as well.

There was a small batch braggot by White Birch that tasted like wet cardboard, but I'm guessing that was due to a mishap somewhere in the process.

Pemi Pale Ale by Woodstock is probably the one that was served as intended and that I enjoyed the least (very Shipyardy.)

Lefty's IPA from western MA. Wow, what a train wreck.

Agreed, wasn't a fan of this beer, cool bottle but disapointing beer.

Whoops, yeah I meant Woodridge, Warrenville is where Two Brothers is. Did not know that they had moved to Los Angeles though...

Most of Cold Spring Brewing. Except John Herny, that one was good.

    I second that.

Though it's neck to neck with Applehead. And (once it's released), Melonhead will be right there with them I expect.

Reality often is made up of things that are both good and bad - why shouldn't we also talk about the bad aspects of craftbeer? IMO, only talking about the positive is disingenuous. There certainly is an abundance of positivity in beer writing and on sites like this to make up for it.

I do believe that you're the first person who has told me that they liked that beer, but I haven't read the reviews.. And to be honest, I had "Viking Metal" (as my first beer of the day at big texas beerfest) which is some sort of variation of Gotlandsdrica. But if you enjoyed that beer, great for you bro. We all have different likes and dislikes. I love a lot of what Jester King brews, but I can't say that I'm a fan of everything they do, and that beer just happened to be one of them.

Although this is a classic New Orleans beer, Dixie is probably the worst. It's just like Budweiser.

Maybe that's the difference. I had a big tasting event on election night last November, and shared Gotlandsdricka with 6-8 people. Nobody disliked it (I would even go so far as to say we all liked it), which is why I find confounding that anyone could call it the worst beer from Texas.

That said, I agree with the general sentiment that we all have different tastes.

Good to see Vt hasn't changed in this aspect in 10 years or so. It used to be a duel for worst beer between Kross and Trout River. Surprised TR is still in business.

Fresh World Wide Stout through a coffee Randall. Coffee-flavored cough syrup.
Wonderful stuff with a year on it, but I'll never touch it again fresh.

Forgot about them. Yeah everything I have had by them has been terrible. My buddy bought a bomber of the alt, and it had to be infected. Thick sludgy mess. It tasted and smelled like rancid olive oil.

And it's not even close. Worst beer I've ever had in my life. Couldn't get past one sip. Glad I ordered it in a sampler.

Not anywhere near "worst beer" territory though.
