For me, I have to give Consecration the slight edge over Supplication.

How does Not compare to Royal? I have an '09 bottle I need to crack one of these days. And I'm lucky enough to currently have five bottles of the R&D Sour Ale (along with one of each of the other three R&D beers).

Think I'm going to have to go with RR Consecration, and a VERY close second Jester Kings Boxer's Revenge. However, I've got RU-55 and Funk Metal just waiting for me to try for the first time . . . so this may change.

It's been mentioned, but I'll throw another vote in for Consecration.

Supplication for sure but Madame Rose comes in close second. Juliet gets a honorable mention.

Beatification Batch 3. After that probably Juliet followed by Beatification Batch 5 and then any batch Temptation.

Southampton Black Raspberry Lambic, without question. Beatification probably comes in at #2.

Jackie O's Cab Cherry Man is fuckin' awesome. I'd pick up a case of it from every release if such were possible/reasonable (i.e. if I had money).

Out of the few I have had the pleasure of enjoying, Supplication was my clear favorite.

Granted I don't have access to a ton of the great west coast sours (RR in particular), but I think the best I've had so far is Cascade Noyaux, though Red Poppy was really good as well!

Weyerbacher Riserva - the year it was so sour they had to put a warning sticker on the label.
