Man, maybe an Enjoy By for the novelty of it, but then its straight into PBR's and Bud Lights.

Last time I thought to bring a bunch of craft to a friend and/or family function for all day drinking, i was a fucking mess. And broke.

Of course I could also bring a case of All-Day....
  2. MarshallBirdhouse

MarshallBirdhouse Devotee (450) Feb 19, 2013 South Carolina

July 3rd is my birthday so I'm cracking a Beatification Batch 5. Then I'll probably proceed to crush bottles of 3F Oude Gueuze. Wish I had some Loons left, but I drank them all.

Aahhh, but those cool summer nights! Fireworks and a 36 proof beer! Goes together like antihistamines and operating heavy machinery.

Might have to revisit Stoudt's American Pale Ale just for the occasion. A decent, light pale ale with an appropriate label.

But there's not much of a difference between 'planning your drinking' and 'shopping'. The only reason I don't have anything planned is because I haven't hit the store yet. At that point I think I'll have a good handle on what I may be drinking. Chances are that Anchor California Lager will be involved, but anything can happen...

You are wise, grasshopper. The only difference between planning and shopping is the location where it's done. However, your wisdom lacks one important fact - beer currently in the beer fridge.

Here are some of the beers ive got in the lineup:

Prairie Jazz Millions Gin Barrel 3L
    HF Double Citra 750ml Growler
    HF Abner 2L Growler
    Brother Soigne
    Westbrook Gose
    Enjoy By
    Bible Belt
    Stone IPA on tap
I'm sure others will get into the mix

I think we will also be filling a homebrew keg with some sort of hard liquor concoction and putting it on one of the two kegerator towers.... Saturday morning is going to hurt.

Well, it's a fluid situation, literally, but it looks like some All Day IPA, Stone IPA, Odell's IPA (notice a trend here, anyone?), Vitus, and I still have 3 cans of Big Eye IPA. I might crack my bottle of Collaboration, not Litigation if I feel so inspired. Smoked wings and probably smoked baby backs for the main course.

I always drink Anchor Liberty for Independence day and last year added Stiegl Grapefruit Radler and Old Grand-dad Bourbon to the mix. Not the most interesting line-up but goddamn does it taste like summer.
