Splitting a four-pack of Modern Times' Fortunate Islands with my wife. Following it up with:

    - Stone RuinTen
    - Modern Times Blazing World
    - Victory Summer Love
    - Ballast Point Even Keel

... tough to peg the best time for RuinTen. Too early, and it's overly filling and heavy (especially on the beach). Too late, and you're already feeling it, which takes away from enjoying the 10.8% ABV in RuinTen.

No, I haven't had it yet but I am definitely interested in trying it; I've seen plenty of people enjoying it on the WBAYDN threads, plus it seems like the perfect beer for this weekend's weather and activities. That's OK, I got the Anchor California Lager instead.

FWIW, you're not really rubbing it in- I'll get it soon enough. I did check Anderson Valley's Beer-Finder, and it's not too far away in NY, so I can make a border run when I have the time. No NJ locations listed, though, so I guess it's not here yet. They better get a move-on, Summer's officially under way .

I would switch Enjoy By and Just Outstanding in the order you're planning on drinking them. Never had Swami's so I can't comment on that exactly but of those IPAs I'd definitely drink Stone last.

Just got back from the store where I did the same thing. Also picked up a case of last year's Brooklyn Pumpkin Ale for $15.

I'll be drinking lots of the Centennial with some Stone Ruination, Stone SSR, and a handful of other DIPAs thrown in.

Also going to a bar that just opened for half off happy hour to watch the Brazil-Colombia game tomorrow so hopefully they have some tasty stuff on draft.

Nothing crazy here....felt like having some hefeweizens so that's what I picked up. Starting with some Wormtown MassWhole then moving onto some Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen. After that it'll be either mixed drinks (Tom Collins, Gin and Tonics, etc.) or some Coronas with my brothers-in-law.

New Glarus Scream IIPA for me while grilling.

Pipeworks Sam vs. Unicorn and Stone Enjoy By 07.04.14 because it seems appropriate.

Something barrel aged after everyone goes home and the kids go to sleep, because the weather will allow it (for my tastes)... Clown Shoes Billionaire or Founders Sweet Repute or Two Brothers 17th Anniversary Ale.
