Alwerks Bourbon Barrel Porter and Cafe Royale 2 of mine. As well as Marley's Lament. What are your favorites?

Bitter Valentine but given the price, I don't buy it anymore, they need to put this in 4 or 6 packs. Haven't been impressed enough with their other beers to buy them again.

Coffeehouse, Cafe, and BBP. Their core beers are pretty tasty overall too.

Man this is the brewery I miss the most from the East Coast.

Edit: and Pumpkin, but I have awesome friends that brought me a 6 pack when they came to visit last October.

Lover's Greed is incredible. I'm not into sours, but I definitely love this brew.

It was almost more like drinking wine than beer.

They make some great ones, but if I had to choose.....Pumpkin Ale. Best tasting straight up pumpkin ale in the business IMO.

Hard to choose a favorite, they make some pretty good stuff. Best brewery in VA in my opinion, just not as flashy as some of the others that get more attention.

    Coffeehouse Stout
    Bourbon Barrel Porter
    Bitter Valentine
    Lover's Greed

BB Porter and Cafe Royale are my favorites, although Bitter Valentine and Lovers greed are great too.
The Jubilee in rum barrels is underrated IMO. I'm a big fan of Alewerks, I've made several good trades with thier reserve stuff.

Bitter Valentine has definitely been memorable for me, but I am also just a solid fan of their regular Pale Ale

Agreed. I used feel that Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin was king until I got my hands on the beautiful beverage that is Alewerks Pumpkin Ale.

BB Porter and Pumpkin Ale are their best and Lover's Greed was an awesome attempt at their first wild ale. I like Bitter Valentine as well, it just seemed like it fell off quicker than most DIPAs. The only seasonal I didn't like was Rapadou.

Is it just me, or does AleWerks not receive nearly the amount of national acclaim they deserve? Seems they sit quietly up in Williamsburg and consistently crank out amazing beers. We are very lucky to have them in VA.

Cafe Royale, BB Porter, BV, Chocolate Stout on nitro (!!!), Rapadou, Pumpkin, Coffee Stout...

BBP is my fave. Lover's Greed is pretty good for a first sour, too.

Their Pumpkin has been my first and always favorite pumpkin beer. As far as everything else goes their BBP, Café Royale and Lovers Greed are amazing. Hell they don't put out a bad beer.

For the longest time they have been my favorite VA brewery.
