There have been a ton of collaborations with bands and hip hop artists, which ones do you like or dislike?

None were great, but the Megadeth beer was better than Iron Maiden or AC/DC beers.

I used to walk by the cold box in a nice local store and giggle when I saw Bad Ass Beer. I'm sure the beer was about as exciting as Kid Rock. Yikes......

bad ass was legitimately gross. It proved all of @EvenMoreJesus fears correct, other than the fact that it, and it's brewery went out of business. I do like the iron maiden brews. Otherwise I cant think of too many. I look forward to a good list though

To my knowledge, Bad Ass is being contract brewed by Brew Detroit. At least I still see it on store shelves. Maybe it's old stuff.

The only credit I'll give badass beer is they were selling it for way cheaper than the other crap beers available at a foreigner/kid rock concert I went to a couple years ago with my dad. Foreigner was the better band by the way. Kid rock was meh, didn't play a whole lot of his old shit. Kept playing parts of songs like a radio dj on a rap station. Annoying.

311 has done two with Rock Brothers out of Tampa. Their "Amber Ale" was OK, a hoppy amber, nothing outstanding but not bad either. Their "Beautiful Disaster" I legitimately thought was awesome. It was an 11.3% DIPA with Kumquats. It's flavor was on the sweet side with the kumquats providing a unique tart citrusy flavor

If anybody is interested, part to of the sales from North Coast Brother Thelonious supports the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz. Which in 2009 North Coast helped produce this album with some alumni from the institute. It is really good.

Helen Sung played on that, and she is excellent.

I thought the same of the Amber ale. It was all right. Lowish ABV hoppier verison of an amber/red ale. Finished my last two cans on 311 Day.

I did not try the Beautiful Disaster, but hopefully they release it again.
