Pretzels either store bought hard pretzels or if I am at a bar that offers fresh soft pretzels then I go for that.

One of my newly discovered food snacks to go with beer is shrimp crackers!

You can make these at home, they fry up in 10 seconds, and you can season them a million different ways when pulled out of the oil. Old bay is a perfect spice with them.

I made a bunch with different seasonings, and they went so perfectly with beer... just about ANY beer since I was eating them with several styles.

Dude. Stop trying to make Chechil happen. It's not going to happen!

And I'm not backing your cheese based kickstarter either.

Cheese, charcuterie and nuts are the cornerstone of our beer snack tray. Throw in some chips and salsa, hummus and pita, anything with the words "house cured" or "dry aged". If your beer is aging and evolving, so should yer grub!

My favorite has got to be garlic stuffed olives. Between the crunch, texture and savory flavor, it's great for when I have the munchies.

Soft pretzels are awesome with just about any style. I like oatmeal cake with stouts though sweet and dry to clear the palate leaving you thirsty for the next sip.

I love candied bacon, but I don't feel it pairs well with much.

Pretzels with pilsners, and popcorn or cheese with IPAs. Cheese with most Belgian styles, too. Honestly, I never have any snacks with my imperial stouts. Imperial stouts are already dessert in a glass, and there's nothing I can think of that would hold up to the immensity of their flavor. Ice cream, maybe. Maybe.

If the beer is rare or something new/interesting, I typically enjoy it by itself. However, if it is a staple, then spicy chips/ chips in general are a go-to for me (i.e. flaming hot munchies). I will say though, if you don't have heartburn normally, then trying this pairing will most likely cause it! Nachos are also a favorite pairing, as well as ramen.
